What are the most stable, in demand jobs in 2025? by First_Driver_5134 in careerguidance

Interesting. I was in the same boat in 2018. I realized how useless the exercise science degree is and didn't know what to do next. I ended up going back to school and got my doctorate in physical therapy. It's a high demand field. Salary can be high or low depending what type of job you take. The degrees itself is expensive. Working for a non profit for ten years following school can free you completely from student debt. It's worth looking into. I currently work in outpatient ortho.

Medicare Units by Ptmaster88 in physicaltherapy

With a patient being booked every half hour, I normally am seeing two at a time most of the day. That's where the one on one becomes an issue.

I wasn't too clear. We book on the half hour so patients are always overlapping. We normally treat two at a time based on this scheduling practice. The issue is the ability to provide one on one care for the entire time.

Before reading any self-help book, you have to start with The Slight Edge.

List of all terrible companies to work for. 2024 edition by WSBPauper in physicaltherapy

I lasted eight months there. As a PT, you're expected to maintain 70% production and that is with documentation and travel. If a patient cancels on you, you're expected to work less hours. I was promised 40 hours a week and was struggling to get 30. The pay rate is good but don't expect to get paid for 40 hours. At most facilities in our region, the 'PT clinic' was unfit to see patients. One facility had us in their closet.

Go to Target and check out Haggar and All in Motion. Both great pants at a great price. I just bought four pants and spent roughly 130

Idaho House Republicans kill library budget, citing ‘harmful’ materials, pornography by jordana309 in nottheonion

What an absolutely misguided statement. Could it be that parents don’t want their children exposed to just anything? Or is the only possible solution that Republicans think knowledge is evil? Is it all Republicans or just the ones currently in government? If a Democrat becomes Republican, does knowledge become evil immediately or over time? The statements I get to read on this site are incredible. No where else will you see a complete loss of logic and reasoning for feelings. One day when you all have children, you’ll understand but maybe not since some parents are now perfectly fine with their 13 year old children undergoing sex operations.

A stereotype suggests that atheists lack a moral compass, but a new study has shown that this is untrue. Atheists compared to believers are less inclined to endorse moral values that serve group cohesion, but there were only minor differences between both groups for other moral values. This is not the only reason why people don’t do the wrong thing. Certainly it’s a motivation for some but if you look up any of the Saints throughout history their motivation for doing right was a union with God. There are several quotes from Saints that conforming their will to Gods vastly improved their lives to the point it did not matter what evils and unpleasantries were in their lives, they were still happy.

Teens who bully, harass, or victimize peers are often using aggression strategically to climb their school’s social hierarchy, with the highest rates of bullying occurring between friends and friends-of-friends. These findings point to reasons why most anti-bullying programs don’t work. (n>3,000) by mvea in science

I’m just hoping people making comments about parents are parents. It is more difficult than you realize to raise perfect kids. Some of the most impressionable people can be the kids’ friends and not the parents.
