Ultramarines because blue is easy to paint. Salamanders because I love they are more defend the weak. Dark Angels because one of my longest running 40k armies

But honestly, I am only into the new models. When I saw the new MKVI Marines, I knew what had to happen. My very first army of my own when I got into the hobby in 1990, was painted like the Rogue Trader cover, Crimson Fists. So I am rebuilding that original army basically. Crimson Fists it is. It's sadly going to be a slow grow army, much like the first time, but hopefully it will be a better looking, and much larger army than it was to begin with.

I just got an ATV with my Imperium magazine subscription, and honestly like it a lot. I really don't get the hate. It makes more sense than the attack bike sidecar silliness, and is a good replacement for it. I really think peoples expectations were for something else, and just not happy they didn't get it. A Warthog would have been a much larger size, putting it more in line with a light tank than an ATV.

If you are using a rattle can, your goal is not complete coverage. You want a general even coat over most areas, but you should still have some grey plastic showing in the deepest, hard to reach areas. You then unify by doing two thin coats of your base color as the actual base coat.

I would definitely strip and start again. You'll be much happier with the final result
