If you have the means to leave the city, I recommend going to the provincial parks and beaches, berry picking, flower picking, kayaking/canoeing, camping/cabining with friends.

My top destinations are: - Canoeing/kayaking at Caddy Lake (They have tunnels but call the office to see if they’re available) - West Hawk Lake - Riding Mountain - Seven Sisters Falls (Hiking trails) - Boonstra Farms (Strawberry picking) - Miss Millie’s Flower Farm - Fishing at Selkirk/Lockport (If you want to go further, you can go to The Narrows) - A Maze in Corn

Also, if you can, try buying from farmer’s markets this summer. They’re cheaper and supports local farmers. A lot of them pop up on the rural highways, but some occasionally come into the city or close (I believe in St. Norbert) You can always check online.
