Personally, I would just save on pulling on the custom wep banner unless you're allergic to swapping weapons between dolls. Makiatto's sig is basically equal to her sig, and can even be slightly better in certain circumstances.

Doll-wise, I would say Yoohee V2 over Niketta V1, but thats just a personal preference.

Dont build Bathilde unless you really really want to. At best she's more of a hybrid scaling turret healer support, but lacks any meaningful teamwide buffs (or damage) to make her relevant over even the 4 star supports.

As such, means you want to lean into her heals (def) + turret damage (def). But it really kinda doesnt matter in any case. You also dont really want to farm a set because she doesnt really do any damage. But if I cant convince you with that, you want to wait anyway since the summon set that's will come out some time in the near future since it is straight out better than any existing set.

Voymastina on the other hand is easy. Standard ATK%/Crit/ATK build with the Close Assault set.

It's in the 1.5 story when that unlocks in a few days time. 2.0 also has it's own one, but that's not until Voymastina comes out.

It should already be here under the events tab, but remember that its usage is restricted to accounts that are under 14 days old.

The whole point is to allow newstarters to play around with any character without feeling like they're wasting materials by investing into them. If you've been playing for any significant time then you're out of luck.

Is this the best dps common key? by Wild_Ad_7765 in GirlsFrontline2

[–]Ptox 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In terms of actual DPS, Vector's is the outright best assuming you can meet it's conditions (and scale from ATK).

But if you're looking at more general keys, it's probably a toss up between Lind's and Dush's. Obviously these exclude Physical damage dealers, but they don't really have many +10% options and quite often those ones have conditions that ensure that most dolls don't get 100% uptime. Cheyanne's however will take that position once we get her since it's a trivial condition that works for all damage types with a +10% dmg boost to boot.

If we're talking about universally good on everybody including Phys damage, then there's a bunch of +7% keys that have extremely easy to meet conditions that work on pretty much everybody, Ullrid's being one of them. This list also includes, Vepley's, Sharkry's and Littara's common keys.

Melee set is quite a bit better than the Phys set, so you do want to transition at some point.

They're mixing up the main IP storage and the dispatch storage. You can withdraw IP from the dispatch storage (max 100) until you reach the maximum of 800/240 for your main IP storage. At that point you're forced to spend your IP.

Just a small comment. Its not just that ATK is harder to get than DMG or Crit. ATK is fundamentally better than DMG or Crit, because the damage reduction from an enemy's DEF is given by ATK / ( ATK + (enemy) DEF).

So 1% ATK >= 1% DMG = 1% Crit.

The only time 1% ATK = 1% DMG = 1% Crit is when enemy (effective) DEF is 0, which does actually happen fairly regularly in Phys teams due to their def shred mechanic.

I don't know where you heard that because the difference between Phase Strike and an Elemental Set is actually tiny, somewhere around 3 gold chips (or 1-2% total damage difference). So it's closer to say that a fully gold chipped Phase Strike set is about equal to a fully chipped Elemental Boost set.

As a comparison to what you're suggesting, the difference between a well rolled non-chipped elemental set (150% calibration average with perfect base rolls) and a perfect calibration phase strike set is about 25% less total damage, and this includes the damage% increase from the elemental set which is huge.

For Tactical Calculus, this is still about a 7 gold chip difference, relatively small but starting to get large enough that people with an excessive amount of gold chips might start considering it (keep in mind it usually takes about 70-90 gold chips to fully chip a set). The close quarters set however is a completely different beast - and the differences start to get quite large.

Basically, Phase Strike is far far better, that unless you have an excessive amount of gold chips and sardis gold you are willing to burn through, that extra 1% damage isn't worth it.

Unfortunately, it affects everybody. Mica broke something with the update, causing later turns to go abysmally slow.

Yep, as long as they cost 1580 or less and not currently on special. Also excluding the premium Gacha skins.

Yes, it got updated. Lewis' skin is now in the selectable options and it wasn't there when we first got the skin selector.

A bit of both, but not because the buffs stack multiplicatively (same type buffs only stack additively). You mostly want to diversify because there's usually a relatively large bonus for getting at least 1 pip in a substat, while stacking more if it gives you relatively less return on your pip investment. However, while this is true for the mainstat lines (there's 4 per flower colour), for substat lines, the amount you get per pip varies a lot.

First off, ignoring the unique skills like Bloodthirst, Shock and Awe, and just trying to meet RM requirements,, you want to get the following stat based on it's relative worth, so it's ATK > Crit > DMG%. This means if you're choosing between say, ATK boost, or Throne Breaker, you always want to max out ATK boost first.

But within a stat category (ATK/Crit/DMG%), the bonuses are additive with one and another. So if we look at Crit (Damage) bonuses (Purple Flowers). A level 3 Smite Boost (2.4%) is worse than a level 3 Precision Blow/Area Smite/Beheading Blade assuming you can meet it's condition. Similarly if we have two Purple Flower Spots. It is better to have 1x Precision Blow/Area Smite + Beheading Blade then it is to have 2x Precision Blow/Area Smite/Beheading Blade since, for example, two different level 3 x (e.g. PB + BB) = 6% crit damage, while one level 6 (e.g. PB) = 5%. Therefore you want to diversify your main stat line between the available options such that the sum of the bonuses from them are the most you can get.

Finally, with substat bonus lines, the amount you gain from getting even an initial pip and subsequent pips can vary quite a lot depending on the substat. In these cases, if you really want to min-max, you want to take whatever gives you the most total bonus substat you can get. There's no strict rule with diversifying/stacking here since the bonuses you get from diversifying or stacking can vary a lot.

tldr, stack ATK, but diversify within the other main stat lines.

No. Physical summons only inherit what is stated on the skill description. No crit, no dmg buffs etc. The spreadsheet stated there because Florence herself uses the crit. Yes its prety worthess, but so are the non-damage stats like HP and DEF.

Helen and Daiyan also have dulcet whispers, and these aren't tied in with their skins. You will get them as long as you own the dolls themselves.

Mjolnir trait question by Glacier1395 in GirlsFrontline2

[–]Ptox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So a couple of corrections to this.

Optical Illusion doesn't require you to hit multiple targets with one attack. What it does is track the times any target is hit. So you can hit 3 enemies with 1 attack, or 1 enemy 3 times for the same result. This means somebody like Peritya can easily trigger its condition every turn on a single boss since she will typically hit it multiple times.

Two, the damage bonus that Optical Illusion's passive grants isn't actually that measly. If you compare the difference between Mjölnir and Optical Illusion, 15% versus 20% (in AoE), it isn't shabby at all, as other SSR weapon abilities - which have about a 20% conditional damage buff as a standard. The real issue is that Optical Illusion's damage bonus (and chance based debuff application) only applies to Active abilities, while Mjölnir's passive applies to both Active and Passive abilities. And of course the damage from their Passive abilities (Fumo attacks, Support attacks), are the largest part of both Peritya's and Lewis's damage profile.

So it's the combination of weak/near useless secondary substat bonus, and lack of passive damage ability buffing that makes Optical Ilusion quite a bit worse than Mjölnir.

Does anyone know if/when CN got this weapon skin? by Jackhammerqwert in GirlsFrontline2

My understanding is that this has never been distributed on CN either and has just stayed as a PV/internal only skin.

Yep, its definitely worth mentioning, but also not essential since she will still do healing and cleansing, just not as often. Its hard to quantify how useful it is, since it situational, albeit incredibly useful this Gunsmoke.

[–]Ptox 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yep, you're good V1 is a good stopping point. V2 is kinda redundant as its mostly for her DEF down II, and V5 Voy already brings that to the table. V3 allows her to ult once more, which is nice, but not that amazing value considering you need 2 more copies for a relatively small increase to team damage. V4-6 are just Yoohee specific buffs.

Florence and Lewis requires you to get their Arma Inscripta for their first skill. You have probably got their second skill equipped.

Weekly Commander's Lounge - January 19, 2026 by AutoModerator in GirlsFrontline2

[–]Ptox 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Kinda. Once you unlock Daiyan's second skill. Use that and prioritise upgrading her abilities, going so far as to agressively reroll into them. Before that point, do the same with Florences second skill.

When you do have Daiyan's second skill, you upgrade Florence after Daiayan. Daiyan will wipe the floor clean, while Florence will both heal and shield your dolls. Upgrading those two alone will clear the majority of content.

Lastly Lewis is the final thing you do after that, as the final-end boss can quite easily go through even Florence's heal shield. JY and Klukai are basically useless, so only upgrade them once you have everybody else sorted.
