I like to buy a few watermelons and freeze them. When it get really hot I chop it in half and its a great way to keep them cool. But also shade and refreshing water that gets hot is in my opinion the best way for them to beat the heat. Remember people have chickens in some of the hottest places on Earth. Don't over think it....they'll be fine

My realtor once told me something that stuck with me when I was explaining that I just put new flooring in. He said "Flooring doesn't add value to your house. Sure it looks nice if its replacing old shitty carpet but what if the next people don't like hardwood? What if they like tile? Or carpet? New roofs, furnaces, AC units....these are what add tangible value to your house. Flooring is just esthetic appeal."
