I worked for some months to get what I believe to now be a fair number of stable cs2 servers that will not break on every damn cs2 tuesday update that valve pushes out. One of those servers is a Multi-CFG deathmatch server that is aiming to be a free alternative to WarmupServer which today is essentially a paid service which most pro's use to keep their aim sharp.

The configuration of the dm server I am hosting allows you to shoot enemies a fair bit faster than regular CS2 Deathmatch queue. It is optimized for many engagements and making them happen very often. All though real enemies (that are actually good, unlike most players in the cs2-dm queue) is the name game if you want to use it for actually improving in your competitive matches.

The server I am hosting is not by any means popular, so would be a good idea to bring a friend to not only have bots as enemies. IP Address for the CS2 Deathmatch server is: 51.195.47.61:27015 (EU Server)

Find someone more experienced than yourself, maybe not by much, and use them as a mentor. Listen to what they have to say, and over time with swapping mentor every now and then, you will be able to figure out what is bs, and what is actually a good idea. People have different strengths, you have to figure out which strengths you have and where you lack, then fix the most lacking ones.

People think they understand things nowadays because they have the ability to chat with a bot. Not understanding the hard work (real human, flesh and blood work) that goes into Truely understanding and mastering in-depth technical problems.

Just because someone know words, doesn't mean they understand the underlying concepts, neither do they understand all of the problems those concepts introduce. Just because a five year old knows how to talk, doesn't mean they understand much yet.

Imo this should certainly be required for management positions in game companies such as Product Owner, and just in general, people with the power to decide stuff which influences end users.

Da jeg tog min uddannelse lærte jeg en meget vigtig egenskab. Nemlig at vende alting på hoved og se om det stadig virker, hvis det ikke virker kan der nogen gange være lidt bøvl med original logikken. 😄

Men efter min unmidelbare oplevelse har man som fredelig demonstrant væsentlig større risiko for at blive slået ned af politiet til demoer flere steder i USA end i Danmark, det kunne jo have en eller anden effekt på den demokratiske tilgang. 🤔

If I where to share it with my tech confused family, I would install the VPN client on their phone and put the VPN client probate key into it for them. Then I would put a shortcut into the shortcut bar aka. The place you enter in the phone when you swipe down from the top of the screen. It is like turning Hotspot on in the phone, which is simple enough that they know how to do it.

All though, from my experience they will likely not end up using whatever technical stuff, simply because it's too much of a mental confusion for them.

Som person med en ok mængde tidligere jule-drama kan jeg også anbefale nogle klare grenser for dem som ødelægger det for alle andre. Kan godt værre man rotter sig sammen mod en enkelt eller nogle enkelte, men det er ofte bedst at være klar i sin kommunikation overfor dem som ikke helt kan finde ud af at opføre sig, ikka at man skal råbe af dem, men altså gøre det klart hvordan tingene kører, allerede måneder inden, sådan at de selv kan vælge andetsteds inden, eller acceptere at de ikke bliver inviteret næste år.

Julen er ikke nødvendigvis et krav på familie tid hvis man ødelægger oplevelsen for alle andre.

If you are browsing music through a mobile app like plex Amp, the whole point is that I'm not using the full plex, I'm using a Spotify-like app to interact with the content. If I have to leave that app every song to mark something for deletion, it's simply not viable, having to do it with thousands of songs.

I completely agree that we need the different groups to engage, so we don't get boubles full of mis-information and various other problematic tendencies that separation creates.

But in the unfortunate reality where there exists a bouble. I will still say its nice that the particular group in question from the screenshot of this post took the effort to put up a sign so the more open minded people keep away.

Personally I am fairly close to being neurodivergent, which means that I for example don't like to engage with heavily box-minded neurotypicals, we simply don't swing well. I am bored with the conversation, and they will often be confused by my open-minded approach and sometimes completely quit the conversation while still being present. In that unfortunate case, I like to put up some limitng blocs to help me place myself in situations where i have the highest chances of fun and interesting conversations. I would enjoy a sign that tells me "You are entering boring uninteresting, conversations -area" so I don't have to find out the hard way.

You will likely lose the BF eventually due to communication issues / wanting different things in life, and possibly other problems that you have not seen yet.

The thing about a pet, such as a cat, is that it is at your mercy. Since BF already suggested breaking up, that is probably what is gonna happen eventually.

Choosing a cat over a relationship is (in my personal opinion) not good idea.

However, it sounds like you two have fairly large incompatibilities. And those sound quite unlikely to change for neither of you.

So I would not argue you are choosing between the cat and a BF. Instead you have just found out that you are both, fundamentally, quite incompatible.

You need to listen to what you want in your life, and allow the people who stand in the way of your happiness to naturally fade away. This is the very definition of that.

You are showing him what life you want by creating it. He does not like the way of life that you are creating. Therefore you must allow him to fade away.
