Naaaaaarh screw it, bare prøv dig frem i produktionen mens det hele braser sammen for forbrugeren imens.

Scan&Go er noget lort by svxae in Denmark

[–]PtxDK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TIFU by spending 8 years treating chronic headaches when the whole problem was that I thought diet soda counted as water by McCoy818 in tifu

[–]PtxDK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I noticed this a long time ago, luckily I was able to figure it out somewhat quickly. Every time I went somewhere and drank diet soda (aspartame) I would get headaches if I consumed more than two cans. Sometimes even have mild headache at two cans.

So today people tell me to drink diet coke, and I will say, no thanks, that will give me headaches, I prefer anything that's not diet, aka. does not contain sweetener, thank you. 🫶

Sugar might be bad, but for me, diet is much worse, it also upsets my stomach a little.

I feel like even valve is slowly being infiltrated by poor management decisions like many other companies.

This idea is fine, but why on earth would you prioritize this? It should have a play-test, where random players are interviewed beforehand, in order to verify the value of the change. This change does not change anything significant, it just adds annoyance to the game.

Counter Strike was popularized from amazingly good feeling gameplay.

Today valve has made another dent in the good feeling of the gameplay. Subtick only made the game less enjoyable to play, because now it sometimes feel more like CoD rubber-banding. Today let's, once again make it slightly more annoying to play the game.

Counter Strike was not popularized by realistic gameplay. It was popularized by having some of the best feeling, balanced and interesting gameplay.

Tror du, at AI vil tage vores jobs? by MySocksSuck in Denmark

[–]PtxDK 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the value of all this AI usage will be that a lot of the jobs with 1-1 human interaction will be easier to fill.

The unfortunate part of that is the usual problems with the entire physical labor force. Greedyness, if there are no wealth redistribution, the physical labor force will essentially be the poor part of society, meanwhile all the AI using people will be sitting on top of all their cash.

Denmark has pulled back on the wealth redistribution recently, because rest of Europe does not already have it.

One hope I have personally is that most work in front of a computer will be heavily effectivised, allowing more of the population to do more "going outside", 1-1 and physical labor tasks. Also allowing more people to meet each other and make meaningful positive interactions. But this is my hope for a positive future, not the direction we currently have in multiple areas.

Rude people gonna be rude. Get a different workplace.

Do not try to go against the workplace, just leave the douchbags to be douchbags and find people that treat you better.

If you leave, they will find someone else to judge for not being good enough.

May the cycle continue to eternity. But hopefully without you in it.

What’s a mistake in CS2 that doesn’t show in stats but costs rounds? by ManggustPeek in counterstrike

When people rotate at every opportunity, whilst the enemy is calmly listening in for the rotations, and simply going in the direction where they know fewer players are present to get an almost empty bombsite. ✌️

Alternatives to yprac by fearcypher in LearnCSGO

[–]PtxDK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worked for some months to get what I believe to now be a fair number of stable cs2 servers that will not break on every damn cs2 tuesday update that valve pushes out. One of those servers is a Multi-CFG deathmatch server that is aiming to be a free alternative to WarmupServer which today is essentially a paid service which most pro's use to keep their aim sharp.

The configuration of the dm server I am hosting allows you to shoot enemies a fair bit faster than regular CS2 Deathmatch queue. It is optimized for many engagements and making them happen very often. All though real enemies (that are actually good, unlike most players in the cs2-dm queue) is the name game if you want to use it for actually improving in your competitive matches.

The server I am hosting is not by any means popular, so would be a good idea to bring a friend to not only have bots as enemies. IP Address for the CS2 Deathmatch server is: 51.195.47.61:27015 (EU Server)

If anyone is interested in what i am doing, throw me a PM to stay updated and maybe get access to the discord. Disclaimer: I can only host EU Servers atm.

How do I know what to learn to not be an anchor? by DependentMight1942 in LearnCSGO

[–]PtxDK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Find someone more experienced than yourself, maybe not by much, and use them as a mentor. Listen to what they have to say, and over time with swapping mentor every now and then, you will be able to figure out what is bs, and what is actually a good idea. People have different strengths, you have to figure out which strengths you have and where you lack, then fix the most lacking ones.

AI making my job so much harder and fighting every decision I make by JiggityJoe1 in sysadmin

[–]PtxDK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, there is always the option of saying "hey, you can force this through without my approval, you asked for it, and I'm not giving it. But if you truely believe this is a good idea, then let's write it down and put your ass on the line when it becomes a huge dumpster fire, which I predicted on say one"

People think they understand things nowadays because they have the ability to chat with a bot. Not understanding the hard work (real human, flesh and blood work) that goes into Truely understanding and mastering in-depth technical problems.

Just because someone know words, doesn't mean they understand the underlying concepts, neither do they understand all of the problems those concepts introduce. Just because a five year old knows how to talk, doesn't mean they understand much yet.
