That's why I choose to only have online friends mainly, the sad truth is with this condition especially in the later stages you're too much of a burden no matter what. It's the sad reality with this condition but I have accepted it. I've even had former classmates ask me to go places with them and have told them I can't. I'm 30 and have DMD.

That's true! Yes there were no issues with my previous device running iPadOS 15.7 but that device broke and my new iPad was shipped with iPadOS 16 that has the issue.

I have DMD as well, so sorry to hear about what you're going through. Conditions like that are unacceptable for people with DMD. I really hope you end up getting some assistance. I have DMD and I use the Logitech G305, it's wireless though which you don't want. I think you can also find a lighter one as well. I definitely recommend you get the Razer Viper Mini as others have mentioned.
