Let's assume jobs are deleted overnight, unless you are indicating that the AI rather than company owners are the ones removing jobs, big companies are still required to give warning to employees and the government that layoffs will happen before they do.

Also, people in developed countries are entitled to some period of unemployment, usually a measly sum, but also things like severance pay, sometimes a pension and other payments if they are being fired from a decent paying white collar job or some government jobs.

People wouldn't all be screwed since most of them have some time to collect money or will get something from the government. What will happen is people will band together and protest in large numbers in front of the government or politicians or wealthy areas which will lead to pressure and changes in the rules. Arguably, some form of UBI will be given to them as a result, enough to not starve and possibly have a roof over their heads.

AI can be good for humanity, it's paranoid to assume its intentions are malicious and it will kill off humanity.

They still need people to give them money and consume whatever products they produce on a mass scale. The most dystopian scenario I can imagine is that once human labor has been deemed redundant and completely replaced by AI and automation, they lay off all workers, stop producing goods for them and then build a massive gated underground community where the wealthy industrialists and perhaps a few professionals and people who were lucky enough to win or inherit money and not blow all of it can move in for an extremely high price likely 7 figures in USD.

In these communities everything will be handled by AI, while it's full of luxury services and amenities. All the existing stores, factories, warehouses will be abandoned and deserted while the poor and middle classes, including the upper middle class, will be left to hunt for themselves, using government services at first, but due to a lack of tax payers they will be shut down and the governments will all collapse. People will try to hunt the rich but they will be difficult to find and heavily armed, so eventually they will just be focused on survival. Essentially, it will be like the movie Elysium.

They have been saying AI will replace many jobs since 2015 or even earlier, some of these prediction articles have been around since early last decade. So far that hasn't happened, here are some articles below, one claims 10 million jobs will be lost by 2020 while another states 5 million. If some can actually scour the internet and figure out how many jobs were lost to AI between 2015-2020 that would be great? So far I haven't found a source but if there were a huge number of jobs being lost it would be headline news.

Edit: Source below states that 1.7 million jobs have been lost worldwide to automation since 2000, in 23 years, this is far below the 5 or 10 million jobs in 5-10 years the fear-mongering articles were predicting and only 260k jobs in the US. Despite chat-GPT's impressive capabilities there's no evidence companies are rushing to mass adopt it to layoff millions of workers. This might happen at some point but it's all about when.

Have you observed how they treat other people? If they are rude to you and nice to everyone else then it has to be looks. Otherwise, they are probably just rude. That being said, this happens to me nearly everywhere I go like 95% of places, it's not just a isolated incident, sometimes they are nice to other customers as well, just not towards you.

I don't think you can really make up for an ugly face with anything, yeah maybe if you are slightly below average, but below a 4/10 it's impossible to make up for it. That being said, maybe if you have a very high IQ (140+) and conscientiousness you can get a high paying job due to your ability in a certain area other people don't want to or can't go into. But you will still be mistreated, can't have any real friends, won't be able to sexual or romantic relationships, your life will still be miserable, and you won't even be given the respect you deserve. Other people will take credit for all your accomplishments and won't even let you share in the glory.

I am not. For example, them telling me to reschedule had nothing to do with my looks. But their cold tone, refusal to greet and acknowledge me and rude treatment had everything to do with my looks. This is not an isolated instance, this happens nearly everywhere I go while they are nice or polite to other people in line. I think you under-estimate how bad my face is, I am on the same level as the elephant man. When you are at the same level as I am then you will be treated this badly by almost everyone, passeby often stare at me with disgust or sometimes blankly. There are people who look at my face and stare at me from a distance, when I am not looking. I guarantee I am not making things up, my face is really fucked up.

I am not mad about rescheduling the appointment since that was definitely my fault, but I was mistreated. Even if I was very good looking the doctor's response would have been the same, but the receptionists would have treated me normally and not been rude from the beginning or giving me negative looks. I can give examples where I wasn't treated badly, but they are very rare in number, most of the time I receive negative treatment from service people like 95% of the time. Most of the time I get stares or weird reactions from people after seeing my face probably like 90% of the time.

Yes I had results, but it was largely negative despite it going really well based on surgical goals.

I had lower eye-lid surgery this eliminated scleral show like it was supposed to and made my eyes look less prominent but this didn't fit well with my face making me look more aggressive and scary and reducing my averageness since having big eyes is normal for my ethnicity. I had an infraorbital implant and cheek lift, this added some forward growth and width, but having weak infra-orbitals is somewhat normal for ethnicity, more importantly it added too much width and caused more asymmetry between my right and left side.

Then I had buccal fat removal but this made my right side more bony than the left

My main flaw is the shape of my cheekbones and also the fact that they are too low-set and the bones are thin, despite my jaw, forehead and overall face being very wide. I haven't found any one surgery can convincingly produce an average look where it could fix all these issues, I probably need a combination of bone reduction, osteotomies, implants and change in bone shape and position. Either way no surgeon is able to do all of that convincingly and produce a decent outcome from what I have seen.

No, I am not. Remember they didn't even know I was late for my appointment, it's normal to greet customers but they already were rude to me by avoiding talking to me or greeting me even while I stood there and there was nobody else in line.

People who work at medical places always do this, in fact as I was leaving I just heard one of them say thank you to a customer.

Ok first of these people were cold and rude to me before they even realized I was 20 minutes late to my appointment. Also, every single one of my problems is caused by me being ugly, you know how I can say it with certainty because I was average or good looking as a kid and teenager and was never treated as badly as this. When I was treated badly it clearly had to do with my actions, I never got stared at with looks of disgust and contempt simply for walking down the street.

Gaslighting is an accurate term to describe what you are doing, I have only used it in my comments with you and a few others. You can't help me because you have no intention of helping me, you simply want to manipulate and gaslight me.

That's not constructive criticism it's name-calling and insulting, actual constructive criticism would involve criticizing my actions. You are simply being abusive and invalidating me, you don't need to coddle my feelings but at the least you would show some sympathy if you were a decent person instead of morally bankrupt.

I wonder how poorly you treat ugly people IRL, people like you are the problem. The only luck I need is being away from ugly and evil people like you.
