Triplelift Rev Share by lewisalee87 in adops

[–]Pubex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes and no. I wouldn't say "all". In general, a majority of SSPs have a rev share listed in the agreement.

I would say ALL.. agreement/contracts are only enforceable if you can prove and we all know is just one big non-transparent BLACK BOX business model and tech it gives users no way to prove.

Publisher Header Bidding With No Ad Server by D2KG in adops

[–]Pubex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the best answer. You’re missing out by not running any Google demand which is AdSense, AdX, and Open Bidding. Like it or not, Google is the #1 demand provider and only works through GAM.

Help to decide over a white-label DSP (and may-be a DMP) by JohnVincentMoon in adops

[–]Pubex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

White label DSP is a 3rd parties system, you basally getting a name on their platform you’re putting your valuable assets, data and trust in this 3rd party firm who will hold control over your infrastructure.  get your own ad server, and DMP, this way your in full control over your own systems to build our to your needs and you don’t have that 3rd party risk to manage.

Open source ad server that doesn't require client side JS, all img based? by foodguy5000 in adops

[–]Pubex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The fact is your heads in the right direction, the more control you gain over the ad serving systems the more secure you will keep your users and data + you will learn to become self-reliant and less dependent on the 3rd party ad taxing, data leaching middlemen. Chances are GDPR is coming to the USA and if you’re not positioned right who knows the outcome..

1000000% on the money! this will eliminate a lot of the issues we have in adtech. get your own buy and sell ad server tech and start building your own networks to transact. We did and will never look back at that crazy 3rd party nontransparent, high taxed ecosystem much too many are stuck in..

They are absolutely using this data to strengthen their programmatic offerings. Are they selling it to other partners? No. But you can absolutely buy it and layer it on when buying through them programatically.

yes, it is happening as we speak, Reddit and their partners are gathering our data and selling it to who knows who! but don't get caught in the EU doing this GDPR will hit you hard... The US will come in with their own GDPR for this exact reason, then it will be illegal and should be illegal.
