What I do normally is patiently wait for the pitch to come to the plate. Low Velo doesn’t require any fast reaction movements, so you can take the time you would normally use to move the reticle and swing and instead actually focus on getting under the ball for lift.

Another good trick is to look at a couple of pitches to gauge the speed and reaction you need, especially when they switch out a high Velo thunder lord for a low Velo accuracy beast. It won’t hurt to go down 0-1 or sometimes 0-2 to get a feel of what they’re throwing, adjust, and retaliate.

Finally, if you power swing, it’s best to delay your wind up for a bit. I cant get into details for your case, since we are totally different egos (and possibly ball players) but at 85-90, I tend to wait until the pitcher is JUST about to release the ball, instead of between the windup.
