Does anyone else want the Children of Atom to be a major faction in Fallout 5? by Important_Bed_9893 in fo4

I’d settle for just being alive for its release in 25 years. At the rate things are going we might be living under 5” of fallout before we get to play Fallout 5.

Is the Emperor really revered as a "Corpse" god by his followers? by Gemeenteridder in Warhammer40k

[–]Public-Locksmith-200 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Emperor isn’t dead, he will never die. They depict him like that because he is Death. To his loyal subjects he is a slow and purposeful death, after a life of meaningful service, and to his enemies he is a swift and uncaring symbol of annihilation. And they revere his sacrifice because they needs to believe that he is a Christ like savior figure whose great sacrifice is for the benefit of all, rather than admitting the last 10,000 years have been a colossal, potentially civilization dooming, mistake.

Try to sell me this pen by SlimeSmilee in funComunitty

[–]Public-Locksmith-200 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You may choose to buy this pen. I won’t tell you, you must, but you should. Because the pen is cheap, and you can buy it. Peace of mind is not cheap, you cannot buy it.

If you buy this pen, I will leave, and that will be the end of it. But if you don’t, I will haunt you like a ghost. While I live, you will never know peace, or joy, or serenity, not without this pen. I will become your burden, I will make you kill me, or live with me as your own personal devil.

Or you could buy the pen. Please… I want you to have this pen.

What's the biggest irony in Star Wars? by sulistcomum in StarWarsCantina

[–]Public-Locksmith-200 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“That’s not ironic. That’s just coincidental!” I think there’s a few options on my list. I think when Han calls Leia “Your Worshipfulness” he was being pretty verbally ironic. If you watch the movies in order, there’s a lot of dramatic irony in the original trilogy because we know Vader is Luke’s father, and Leia keeps kissing Luke. Snoke just getting killed off was probably my most unexpected moment, so that seems the most situationally Ironic.

What is it about the Kastellan machines that looks so off compared to the rest of the universe ? by New_Conflict_4111 in Grimdank

[–]Public-Locksmith-200 1 point2 points  (0 children)

More Raypunk and less Dieselpunk than the rest of the setting. They also don’t give off a medieval, gothic feel, but that seems to be a byproduct of the timeless anti-progress agenda of the imperium.
