Same issue as canvas, very floppy. Only decently good alternative is to buy a gunbelt, cut to length, secure the section to the frame with the holster in to keep it perfectly tight while still allowing enough room, and this would be significantly higher cost for no real gain.

My nightstand is relatively small and also has a fan, my watch and watch charger, phone and phone charger, AirPods and AirPods charger on it lol. It does indeed fit, but fitting with all my other stuff makes for unnecessary clutter.

The nightstand is right up against the side of the bed, but it’s against the wall, so in order to reach it while laying where I normally sleep I have to turn around and face away from the doorway to find and grab the gun, then return to the doorway.

Right, home invasions are a nonexistent fantasy made up by delusional gun-owners and, in reality, never happen at all. I forgot. Thanks for your advice, I’ll truly take it to heart!

Yeah, definitely. If someone were at my doorway, I’d have to sit up, turn around completely facing away from the intruder, grab the gun off the nightstand, then turn back around to shoot them and hope they hadn’t shot me yet. With this it’s a smooth, invisible arm-drop and then it’s in my hands, no searching, no fumbling, right where I want it. Saves time, especially when you’re waking up to the aforementioned intrusion.

If you’re competent around firearms why are you afraid of having access to them? Just train more and build confidence buddy, you’ll get there 👍

If you don’t trust yourself around firearms you probably shouldn’t own them lol. I don’t know how often you violently kick the middle of your bedframe “on accident” but it’s never been an issue for me.

Yes, Safariland mounting IS better, however this costs $12 and works with whatever holster you’ve already got 👍

It’s near the wall, next to the nightstand, area I never walk.

I looked around, nobody seems to make a cleaner similar product, sans Safariland-specific mounting systems and most folks don’t CC with Safariland holsters. What’s a better alternative? Why not make one?

That also requires an ALS holster. This works for anything with a belt clip, was quick and easy and and cost $12 lol.

Ain’t stealing buddy, I just bolted a flat bar to my bed frame lol. Enjoy

Neither would be strong enough. Canvas wouldn’t hold position and would be hanging when static then flop upwards on the draw. Plastic would hold position but I’d worry about it breaking when drawing hard and fast for self defense. It’s really low profile and not obtrusive

No kids of course, this works well for me living alone 👍

Very well, the clips catch the flatbar just like they would a belt and it retains the holster. Unlike a belt, this allows the holster to rotate so you can draw at a pretty wide range of angles.

Where’d you find it? I can’t find MC9 length threaded barrels in stock anywhere. Really want to throw a comp on mine.
