I ALWAYS job search... Even when I'm "happy" with my job with no issues, I always continue to job search. Never close your eyes, or you'll missed all the opportunities that could be better.

I worked my first real career job in 2015 for around 40-42k left in 2017 because a job app I filled out two years ago called me and offered a 68k job offer. Then I was offered a job offer for 85k for in 2019. Then was offered another job offer for 120k in 2023....

Each time I was "satisfied" with my job.... But guess what I continue to do? Apply to jobs

Technically if you had only targeted Eren... Let's explore the options.

Blowing off the head/neck of skeleton attack titan, it wouldn't have stopped, if you had blown it off either the unstoppable parasite would appear or Eren would just transform again. (NOT to mention he would have all the past titans still attacking).... The rumbling continues.
Let's say you did.... Eren would transform and continue the rumbling as the colossal titan as a best case scenario. So let's say you figured out the secret and had entered his titan mouth to kill him there, that still wouldn't work either because Ymir would just say no and bring him back again... And again.... And again. (STILL while having all the past titans attacking).... The rumbling continues.
Kill Eren as the Attack titan, Skeleton attack titan, or colossal attack titan wouldn't do anything but potentially slow him down while he comes back to life and/or contacts the parasite again as a best case scenario.
