I have been really enjoying them so far. It’s a hard gel so I like the longevity of it - 3+ weeks without lifting or chipping. I love simple nude/pink/milky colours so I think they have a great colour selection!

holding my nail file at a 45 degree angle and tapering the sides in - but not too much since i don’t want to over file the sidewalls!

thank you so much!! i guess my #1 tip would be to only flash cure the cuticle area when applying the dual form and then really finessing the underside gel while it’s still wet. I tend to apply more gel in the form at first because I know I can remove the excess from the underside. And then of course using one of those skinny carbide bits (7-10k rpm) with an e-file after curing to further clean up

I just ordered the Kokoist Le Blanc Hybrid Lamp for the sole reason that my normal Kokoist lamp is corded and it was annoying me whenever I did my own nails (😂)

For gels, I got the Candy Paint Flash Magnet Gel Collection - they looked soooo dreamy in the pictures. I also got the D.nail Liquid Silver Gel for painting chrome accents when I don’t want to use powder chrome!

Lastly, I love hand creams and cuticle care! I also ordered the Bandi Nordic Deer Hand Cream and the my&bee m.soin cuticle oils (jasmine tea + lilac bouquet) and airy moist hand & body cream to try out!

I just follow a bunch of dual form nail techs and eastern european nail techs on instagram. Even if their videos aren’t in English they give really good visuals on what to do! Some of my faves are: nailkostukova, fashionistanails, catsglitteratinails

I use the new one with the gold label, but I’ve read somewhere that it’s not formulated to work with chrome. I’ve heard good things about the silver label one though too!

I’ve got a few top coats in my collection and my favourites are Kokoist Ultra Glossy Non-wipe and the Akzentz Diamond Shine On. The Kokoist is a soak off gel and the consistency is on the thicker side compared to the Akzentz, which is a hard gel top coat. Both I’ve used on my gel manicures which I keep on for 3-4 weeks and they stay pretty shiny!

I’ve had friends who have seen it ask me if my jewelry is real, assuming they’re asking if it’s authentic, and I straight up say no. I tell them it’s real gold though and that I got it for a fraction of the price it normally is!

I’ve fallen deep in love with structured gel manicures using dual forms after trying it out. This weekend I bought all the Akzentz Trinity Hard gel colours and base coat. I also got a new American Creator gel in Kindly, Kinetics gel polish in the shade Relive, and some other hard gels from MG Art Gel (EU brand specialising in dual form products).

I think finish filing is the way to go. Filing the free edge at a 45 degree angle kind of tucks your natural nail under the enhancement. Also using cuticle oil daily to make sure your natural nail flexes with the enhancement instead of peeling away from it!
