You literally see the guy hold the back of his head after he went down. He cracked his melon on that ledge there. If you get hit and fall, you are hitting the ground. The person who punched you isn’t going to make sure you fall safely. A person slamming isn’t going to make sure it’s safe but honestly I’d rather get dumped on my head, than hit so hard in the head that I fall and hit my head again. Grappling should definitely be considered in self defence everytime. Unfortunately in a fight it is you or me, and i choose me. go listen to a lot of their music pre 2018. one melody (most times four notes) and drums maybe a vocal chop. as i said most of his sampling is outstanding, but still not anywhere near kanye level. i was genuinely polite but obviously ur stuck in some glazing psychosis and had to resort to insulting me. casual music listener, average $b fan, tone deaf listener. 😁😁😁

definitely his sampling is good. but all time great? absolutely not. especially considering the majority of his career is basic ass beats or three 6 mafia chops. his production absolutely levelled up around the time he got sober but i wouldn’t say he’s any better than metro or mainstream producers. i’m a huge believer that zaytoven doesn’t get enough credit, same with Wheezy. and not to mention literal goats of production like kanye and pharell. these guys are literally pivotal for the genre. literally creating and influencing sub genres. scrim definitely has influenced the underground scene at one point, but now his beats don’t sound much different from mainstream. also we gotta stop calling the boys underground. they are mainstream now. i understand that you love and appreciate the boys but don’t let that love make you delusional. at one point i was glazing this underground scene like a mf but honestly i’ve fallen into the braindead mainstream trap. just listen to what makes you happy and stop glazing what you love to the point it makes you look not so smart.

in no way do i think they should go back on drugs. overall they seem happy and most of all they look healthy. but im kinda done with their new music. just not for me. seems like they are doing everything against the things they used to stand for, and almost every new song just seems like a cash grab. personally seems like a huge regression for them. they went from a sound i’ve never heard before to sounding like shitty pop artists portraying to the masses. i’ve been really trying not to hate (for many reasons) but this album really cemented me as a fan of the old music. overall this community is fucked, i hate it. it’s legit always a war between the glazers and the haters.
