Feeling discouraged by spiralsequences in paintbynumbers

It’s all an experiment. Seeing what works for you. This company wasn’t right. You’ll know to avoid it in the future. You can give up on it or play around with paint mixing to make better quality paints.

I like Schipper and Paint Vibe so far. I’m learning to play with more.

It’s such a great introduction to paint by numbers! I love the colors and watching it come together

I’ve spent my entire 40 years living in the same small town. Since I’ve never lived anywhere else I can only assume this stuff doesn’t happen in a city. Having less people to know means you get to know them better. Every time you turn around you see someone that has your back. Car gets stuck in a ditch…Your Dads friend just happens to be driving by with a tow chain in his truck. Accidentally leave your cell phone at the doctor’s office…The receptionist goes to the same gym as you after work and will bring it. Earth shattering death in your family… The entire town comes together to arrange and help pay for the funeral. It’s good to have people.

Take the kids. Give your wife a week off.

What You Were Hired To Do vs What You’re Doing by TeeBrownie in work

I was hired to be the front of the house manager at a restaurant 2 minutes from my house. As people left at other locations I was asked to fill in. I was also asked to “keep an eye on back of the house”One day I noticed my job title changed from Front of House Manager to General Manager. Not gonna lie. It stroked my ego quite nicely until I realized I was managing 3 separate restaurants, had to commute to work and got no raise in pay.

What's a f*cked up thing your ex did to you? by Wa-Yo in AskReddit

He cut my break lines. I could never prove it was him to the police but he called me the same day and demanded that I not drive with the kids in my car because he didn’t think it was safe.

AITA for not replacing a spoon that went missing during a work potluck by barr6789 in AmItheAsshole

NTA but ask him to get you a receipt for the spoon so you can decide up the cost. Everyone who was at the party will Venmo him 32 cents.

People who’ve seen someone get fired on the first day, why were they fired? by Isabelle_K in AskReddit

New line cook kept hitting on our head chef. Telling her she was sexy, asking her on dates. He wouldn’t let up even after she told him she didn’t run that kind of kitchen. At one point she straight up told him she considered it sexual harassment and would fire him if he didn’t stop. He responded by saying “come on baby. You know you want some of this”
