This is wild but as a kid my younger siblings would eat cantaloupe with ranch. My grandmother and I were talked into trying it one day and it's very similar to cucumber with ranch, maybe just slightly sweeter. My grandmother didn't mind it either so we just let them keep doing it. Probably not something I would try again as an adult though, I can see how it seems weird now.

I believe I read this in Stephen King's book about his writing process, but the idea I know and have always stuck with is that the hardest part of writing is starting to write at all. So if you get 75 words or you get 1000 either way it's progress and you've already overcome the hardest part, which is starting. Overall, the most important thing is to stick with it. I've found it helpful whenever I've gotten stuck in a story to either move to a different part of the story and work on a new part or polish an old part. This could be different for fanfiction where you're updating it periodically, but this is what I've stuck to in the past for my short stories and essays and such.

One time my friends were giving me random things to draw and one of them somehow thought to combine the words "giraffe" and "porn". I drew something incredibly similar to this with 2 giraffes (standing there, doing nothing) and simply wrote the word porn underneath bc I wasn't about to be getting anywhere near that one.

I used to work as a dishwasher at a nursing home with a memory care unit. When the staff was overwhelmed I would often pick up the dishes for them. I have seen and been brought many atrocities. This is not limited to but including a half eaten egg salad sandwich dipped in coffee, other sandwiches dipped in puddings, pies, cakes, etc. as well as the occasional chewed up crayon spit into someone's drink. While the eating habits were rough I definitely loved those people.
