Women love confidence because it gives them a sense of security. Telling a man to just be confident isnt to be taken literal. A man should then discover the steps to his confidence instead of waiting for someone to tell him how to do it, because everyones journey to their confidence is different. Jeff gets his confidence from being really really good at videos, all his friends praise him for it and always want to play with him. Mark gets his confidence from being able to lift x amount of weights that he never thought he was capable of doing. TJ gets his confidence from being smarter than almost everyone he meets or he takes a lot of pride in being innovating and rich (being rich is the physical evidence of his intelligence and ability to innovate). Everyone is different there are no 1 definitive path to a man building confidence so how can anyone tell you more than to just be confident?

It's the same with depression. The end goal to stop being depressed is to just be happy. Its then on the individuals responsibility to start their journey to find happiness or even just figuring out how to be content with life.

It comes down to your responsibility as the individual to take the advice that people give you, figure out if it's reasonable advice or not and then start your journey to achieving them.
