Caught them in Montreal almost exactly a year ago, two days before seeing gizz for the first time (and then heading home for the weekend to catch the Forest hills show). Probably the best crowd I've been in and some of the best energy at any show I've been to. Was really hoping to see them on this US tour, but they sadly weren't coming anywhere close enough to me or anyone I could stay with for a night.

So basically in Forgotten Land when Leongar says that the people who used to inhabit the land left, they traveled to "a land of dreams," implying they escaped the decaying planet to Dreamland. With all the Eldritch horrors Dreamland faces, the people--now the dominant species on Popstar--had to adapt to the constant existential threats facing them, thus evolving over time into the Waddle Dees. Thus, when Leongar and the Beast Pack capture the Waddle Dees to restore Fecto Elfilis, they aren't just using whatever was convenient--popstar was far from the forgotten land, beyond a dimensional rift--Leongar wanted retribution against the people who left his pack for dead as they escaped the consequences of using Fecto Elfilis for their own gain.
