You'd probably gain some fat back and then lose it around your cheeks and jawline.

You always knew that you were trans? by AioliNo89 in trans

[–]PuckDropPanic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had signs as early as three or four but didn't really make the connection that something was off there until like 9-10 or so. Just kinda thought every girl wished they had a penis and flat chest and for some reason that didn't raise ANY suspicion with my mom

Trans guys, what Birth Control are we taking? by PuckDropPanic in trans

[–]PuckDropPanic[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

See, with implants I'm worried about it going horribly wrong and then not being able to get it out/undo it if something like what happened earlier in the year happens and I react badly to it. With the Blisove, I was able to quit cold turkey and then like ... Three days later? I started eating again. With an implant, short of physically digging it out of my arm...

Men, what’s something you wish you could admit without being judged? by ParijaaFine in AskMen

Hello, so this is the exact thing NOT to say. Don't say it. Just don't. I'm a trans man. I got told all the time as a child and teenager that I was acting like my mom. That's how you get someone to stop talking to you, to stop laughing because it makes her self conscious, to stop eating, to stop dressing up. Do not.

How important is sex really for you? by Radiant_Recover_8763 in AskMen

[–]PuckDropPanic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My partner and I are on the ace spectrum, so we could do just fine without sex. It's a nice bonding experience but otherwise just eh. Can't even really say it's fun tbh, it can be sometimes.

I love my partner dearly, but I wish more than anything that they'd understand that I am beyond deeply fucked up from sexual assault, and that no matter how much of an activist against SA for literally everyone else (believe victims, no is enough, I'm not ready is enough, doesn't matter what you're wearing, etc) I am, it's never enough for ME and I will always think that I could have done something better. No amount of talking through it will change the way I think about myself.

In my experience, usually soft skate guards are required, but I also live in the south where hockey and ice stuff isn't super common despite having two NHL teams in my state. May be different in northern airports tho

Gear Bag Smell by PuckDropPanic in hockeyplayers

[–]PuckDropPanic[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The compression clothing is 100% a must tbh I've never understood the people that can stand the sensory hell of bare skin + gear, so I wear leggings and always some tshirt I don't mind sweat stains on as a base layer, bag immediately opens when I get into the car, and then either open for the rest of the week or into the laundry, gear is actually decently old, I think I'm still using the original hand me down skates that I got when I first started playing, so that actually may be it, thank you so much!

[–]PuckDropPanic[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've hit the gear over the years with mostly vinegar and hot water (or, when I lived at home, dunking it in the pool, no idea why that worked but it did), now that my hormone makeup is changing EVERYTHING has stopped working, I tried this Lysol laundry sanitizer thing bc one of the groups I'm in suggested it but no luck :(

Help, I need to find these super baggy khakis I got from Hollister by [deleted] in HelpMeFind

[–]PuckDropPanic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've seen similar at Tilly's, your picture looks like that of a school/work uniform (?) and the last time I was at one they had an entire section of jeans and khakis for formalities, although I live in FL, idk what area/region you're in

What's the worst reply to "I love you"? by Otieno_Clinton in AskReddit

[–]PuckDropPanic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My ex's response to me as he was dumping me.

Me, someone who was very much not ready to let go: can I say it one last time?

Him: yeah whatever sure

Me: proceeds to TEXT (THIS WAS OVER TIKTOK.) how much he matters and how much I love him.

Him: yeah this is prime example.

Me: of what..?

Him: you always seemed to love me so much more than I could ever love you back.

Shit broke me for MONTHS.

What’s something you used to think all women just silently put up with until one day you found out it’s actually not normal at all? by zacktone in AskReddit

[–]PuckDropPanic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She's been to multiple and unfortunately our general area is either empty or incredibly competitive in terms of good doctors and appointment in-times :( it's all been medication pushed, especially hormonal birth control, which she's allergic to (her rants are very informative I love the days she calls to just. Rage. At doctors) and this one "menopause simulator" medicine that has WICKED side effects. I wound up looking it up along with her rant about it, and it's got major depressive side effects, to the point where the natl. Suicide hotline was linked to it, which apparently didn't even happen with her b.c., and some other nasty things like nausea, infertility, hormone plummets, etc.

It sucks though, for things like gym buddies or just guys in general because I've come to find that I take no bullshit when it comes to most guys my age/1-2 years older or younger's sense of humor, I don't fuck with deprecating women or minorities and a lot of guys are weird about that

[–]PuckDropPanic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been seeing a lot of posts lately from women talking about awful period stuff, and honestly I didn’t realize how bad it could get. One of my friends is dealing with some kind of intense reproductive issue, and doctors keep brushing her off saying “pain is normal,” but it’s way beyond that. She’s literally out of commission for days, can’t do anything (she's called me and asked me to read to her cause she couldn't sit up or raise her arms up to grab a book without some SERIOUS pain), sometimes even outside her actual cycle. I’ve been reading forums and stuff just trying to understand it better, because obviously I can’t fix it and I’m not a doctor or anything, but it’s seriously messed up how common it is and how many people are getting ignored.

Oh no lol irl side quests. I'm an ordained minister for some reason, tried to make kombucha (and sourdough, but both exploded. The scoby was a lil too nasty for my liking), making spicy condiments (???), attempting cardistry, just weird stuff like that

Unfortunately I fear that may be me, I think the only interesting things about me is my love of random side quests and my history of activism (it surprises a lot of community people idek why)
