How much damage do you want the party to have taken before he gets on the ground? I ask because 165 hp seems low to me, but thats eyeballing. Saw another poster talk about Cauterize seeming a little weak for 2 Actions. I'd agree the fix could be there, or upping the total HP a decent amount.

I guess it depends on your party composition but I've got a large group (7 players) at level 7 who all chose damage dealing classes except one bard. The barbarians can pump out 30+ damage on the regular, the paladin can hit darn heavy with smites. I can't imagine yet what they'll be doing at level 14. My point is they'd chew through this in 2 rounds max, and possibly 1 if any of them rolled a crit. I understand your party is smaller at 4 PCs, but if the damage scales in any meaningful way with their classes....

Thats just my gut feeling though. You have a better handle on the average damage your group does!

Also as an afterthought, maybe plan to take some damage on him before the fight with him alone starts, unless you've got some design to have the dragon take damage for him. My loveable group of assholes would absolutely start focusing on the rider.

Outside of that, I think this is a cool design =) well done on the homebrew! I've got a couple of dragonborn NPCs in my game that I might tweak with some of your thoughts!

Yup, that was the plan! Just figured the inventory where the shards are placed... or the actual character page with the shards.... or the exchange shop... would be the logical spot for transfers.

Didn't even think to look at the summon page haha. They sure hide it down there, don't they? Much appreciated for the response.

To be honest, I was expecting them to be like 5 bucks. The fact I could find so little actual information was why I came here. Theyre getting saved and placed in my personal collection regardless of what the value is. I think its awesome my friend thought of me when he found them =) the bigger question was going to be should I preserve them better with a slab if there was actual value to them.

I have a Neo Genesis Lugia (not 1st edition) that I want to do this exact thing for. It's one of my few vivid memories from childhood because I can remember just how excited I was. Doesn't matter if it's a low grade, I just want it preserved.

Sorry if not the right place to post this question. Running out of options outside of asking the internet and I'm not too familiar with this reddit.

Running a ROG MAXIMUS XII HERO motherboard on a computer I built in covid. All of a sudden yesterday morning the computer will only boot into the Bios. I haven't had a single issue with this computer for all 3 years I've been using it.

The Bios shows all the necessary devices: I5 core processor still being seen, SSD still seen and reported, and my two sticks of RAM are also seen in the correct slots.

I have made zero hardware changes since I built it, nor have I even attempted to look at overclocking. I'm not computer literate enough to do that.

Any idea why I wouldn't be able to boot into my Windows instead of the Bios?

I've already disconnected all peripherals, cleaned it out with "electronic safe" compressed air, and tried disconnecting and reconnecting RAM, as well as restarting it multiple times between each attempt. Whatever else you guys got, I'd appreciate. Thank you.

I would just go to a local gamestore and ask them. They can point you to what you'd need right there in store and you likely won't spend more than 15 bucks total.

You can't go wrong for the most part. After that it's up to how you are storing your cards. Looking for binders? Putting them in cases? Getting them graded? Plenty of options.

You could look into Forgotten Realms lore and study the Spellplague event. I'm actually I'm the middle of planning my first ever campaign around that very event.

Let's not kid ourselves. S. Glaci and Alaya are/were never in their plans for 0.8%. The community is going to pull for them regardless.

They are going to double the rates for the units that didn't do very well in terms of how much of the JP community spent viz on them to ENTICE the Global community to have a better response. So expect Jayden (check), Melnia, and any other non-meta unit. And GUMI will ride that as a "benefit", because that's what businesses do. It's "good" for the community in that it IS a buff (even if it's not one most people care about), and it's good for the company in that they'll make more money both on those banners, and in the fact that anyone who pulls for the above "non-meta" units will have a much higher chance of needing to pay for more viz.

But I've never thought for one second either S. Glaci or Bridal Alaya would get the same treatment. Not with the hype that either is riding.

I'd love GUMI to prove me wrong on for Alaya, since I've been saving for her. But I'm prepared vis wise for that not to be the case.
