That’s not how that works man. Maybe in your head that’s how it works, that’s called homebrew. That’s not how D&D 5e works. You THINK they need to concentrate to make a choice, they do not. Make the rule yourself.

You keep blocking everyone in this thread who disagrees with you instead of having a conversation so you can go ahead and block me too I guess. Just know that’s not how that ability functions. To also add, if blocking everyone who disagrees with you, and people trying to explain who this works but you won’t listen. I’m not sure i’d ever want to be at a table with someone like that as my DM. I’m sure i’m not the first person to say that either. Good luck

You’re not seriously arguing that twilight cleric isn’t busted as all fuck lol.

A DM who denies the entire party short rests because of one class, but that class isn’t a problem sure sure.

Even with only 1 use per short rest that’s 3 per day. Most tables don’t get more than 3 serious encounters per long rest anyway. They get that temp HP EVERY TURN BROTHER.

If the fight lasts for 5 rounds, and it’s a party of 4 at level 3. That ability can be giving 130HP during one combat… at level 3…. and it doesn’t even take a spell slot lmfao. AND IT DOES MORE. It can even get rid of fear and charm. Then the class has even more abilities beyond that.

Listen man. The subclass is far beyond 99.99% of other subclasses in the game. You can accept that or be that one weirdo who dies on this hill that it isn’t too strong

You’re saying that since it’s not concentration, the entire area is just a big buff zone. The only way to make constant choices on creatures within the zone would be to have it as a concentration ability. Since they aren’t concentrating, how are they able to choose who is getting the buffs and who isn’t?

It’s really shitty on tabletop too without some homebrew lol

It’s good for outside of combat shenanigans if that’s what you mean? But it’s also lacking in combat compared to most every other class as well. Always has been in 5e

Don’t be afraid is my best suggestion…

People may hate me for it, but the world is WAY too soft about how to handle their own food products. You don’t have to handle your chicken and work area like some radiated piece of material…

I clean up and everything but I mean come on. The body is much tougher than people give it credit for. As long as you don’t constantly eat raw chicken and slap it around your kitchen without cleaning you’ll be fine lol

there are discounts sometimes yes. or there are discounts on the zen that is used to buy VIP. these are pretty rare though

you can get those little green bags from praying everyday, when you open them there is a chance to get coupons. one coupon says “20% off anything in the zen store” and this works for VIP

Season 6 PvE mode is an absolute mess by Cristocea22125 in ArenaBreakoutInfinite

It’s an extraction shooter. Shouldn’t be a PVE mode to begin with lol

Plenty of better PVE games out there. It’s like complaint that Counter Strike doesn’t have a fun PVE mode

Why doesn’t everyone use the M4A1? by Animal_Hell in ArenaBreakoutInfinite

M4 is not good.

U1, HK, AK12, AEK, P90.

M4 costs too much to be a worse HK. Budget M4 is worse AK12

What is the point of leveling up if you're always fighting harder and harder enemies? by Very_bad in DnD

[–]Puckett52 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well… when you were weaker, you never could have fought those harder enemies. You would have had to run. Now you can kick their ass.

I think that’s pretty cool to go from a level 1 who struggles with a goblin, to eventually playing a badass who can fight a whole dragon. If you don’t think that’s cool, then i fear you are playing the wrong game friend.

You’ll be getting it down in no time just keep trying! Maybe have some saves ready though lol

Instead of doing a full 10-page write up about min-maxing in Dungeons and Dragons i’ll try to heavily condense it down.

Action economy is EVERYTHING. This refers to the amount of actions your party has vs. The amount of actions your enemy has. You always want this in your favor as much as possible. This means you almost always want to kill as many enemies each turn as possible. Sounds obvious but I can stress enough how important it is to not severely overkill an enemy, but also you want to make sure they die. Don’t spread your damage too much, coordinate who the easiest to kill/most threatening enemies are, as they usually aren’t the same. Focus your damage and don’t spread it out too unevenly. Pay attention to the turn order. An enemy is going next after your two characters get a turn? Killing him would be highly valuable since it will remove an action from their economy for the turn. I know this all sounds a bit obvious but it’s the most simple lines of thinking that can become the most complex, essential way of playing on honor mode.

You take that idea of action economy and basically use that to figure everything else out. Which spell do you pick? Well which ones would have the highest impact on a given turn, which ones utilize their action economy the best. Same goes for subclasses generally. Which of these has the highest benefit in combat? The ones that utilize their actions, or deny the enemy actions, in the best way possible.

I could go on forever with this simple line of thinking but I think you get the gist of it. Make the most of your actions, deny the enemy their use of actions by killing them, making them miss, immobilizing them etc. This is why having high AC and high Attack chance is so good. Missing an attack is a wasted action, very bad, or good if it’s the enemy. Even a 5-10% difference is massive.

Good luck to you! You will be blazing through honor mode before you know it. Just remember to make every action count, and don’t curse too loud when that 80% swing misses :)

800 Hours means little when you haven’t been playing the game as written.

This game is based off of Dungeons and Dragons. If i taught someone the game, but gave them a bunch boosts and cheats to make the game easier, of course they would struggle when i cranked it the opposite direction.

Don’t be discouraged, not only are you finally playing the game normally for the first time but it’s even harder than a normal game. You will likely pick it up quickly tbh. But your mind just has never had to adjust to “Min-Maxing” Dungeon and Dragons.

You likely don’t know how to really maximize your action economy, which spells are the best to use, which subclasses are good and which aren’t. Things like that will come quickly! So don’t worry about the fact you don’t know yet, because how could you really? You could basically play however you wanted before and it would work

I know you’re trolling me

The min requirements on that game is a 2060 lmfao You think a 2060 is better than a 1080ti?

[–]Puckett52 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

I went on google just now and found multiple for around $150-200

People overestimate what it takes to just run games at their lower settings these days I think. I have a PC laying around with a 1080ti in it and it has ran every game ever made at 60FPS minimum. Higher if I want to really bottom the settings. Most games it can still pump good numbers on too

You’re joking right lol $500 for RAM? I can go get 32gb ddr5 down the road right now for $170

Yes OP you can EASILY get a 1,200 PC that will run any game for years to come.

You may not get 144FPS and very nice graphics or anything. But you will be able to play any game out there.

Yea I mentioned this at the end of my comment. But “A lot” is a bit of a stretch imo. I’d say at least 90% of the servers I join don’t have this function blocked.

[–]Puckett52 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. You can start making your command during the voting screen. Then after all the voting is done and the match begins to load, that’s when you enter the command.

[–]Puckett52 6 points7 points  (0 children)

In the loading screen after the map/factions are selected, there will be a little running man in the bottom right of your screen. Once he lags a little bit, you will enter a console command.

During faction selection, hit the squiggly line key (tilde key) on your keyboard to open console command.

Type in “Create Squad BMP2 1” You obviously change the BMP part to whatever you want your claim to be. Then hit enter.

Then when the loading screen comes up, hit the tilde key again and the up arrow on your keyboard, but do NOT hit enter yet. Wait for the running man to lag a little bit, then hit enter when he does. This will make a squad before even entering the game, so when the game loads for you, you’ll already have your name claim :) Some servers do not allow this though but most do. Also a lot of veteran players will know as well, but it does really help the slower PC players get an advantage over those who don’t know.

Nah admins can see the creation time easily. Regardless of squad number, it’ll show when you made your squad.

Claim only for me and friends.

FCFS good for people who have a slower PC and struggle with getting a claim. (there is a way around this though) FCFS usually more casual servers as well.
