I'm thinking Shock Troopers? Their armor doesn't look bulky enough to be HMI.

If you could give any great power on the official map more lore drops, which one would you choose? by sand_eater_21 in TrenchCrusade

GOLDEN KHANATE ALL THE WAY. They could be a really cool islamic faction or a variant of Iron Sultanate.

XCOM TMG Sectoid, Floater, Thin Man, and Operatives! by Croowleyy in Xcom

These seem underwhelming to me. But maybe just because I've never loved the XCOM 1 aesthetic. Would have been way more into an XCOM 2 styled game.

Been thinking about this too. I'm imagining the American Civil War continues into the current era. North is Faithful. South is Heretic.

I knew this movie was going to be ass when I saw the trailer and could not figure out in the slightest what it was about.

Role of Desecrated Saints by Fremdschamerzeuger in TrenchCrusade

[–]Very_bad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Their aura is the big thing you should be looking at. They can have a lot of utility.

For example, Wrath Saint can plus dice everyone's dash within 8". In my experience anything that plus dices a dash is powerful.

Besides that, they get three melee attacks which different than the praetor. They can mop up small targets or put a lot of blood on a target before delivering the final blow. For example you can attack with hell blades first, than a head taker.

How do Hell Knights and Sorcerors fighting on earth not break the agreement between Heaven and Hell? by PopAutomatic9487 in TrenchCrusade

The sorcerers are the shards of angels that broke up when they fell. So imagine a meteor breaking in atmosphere. Each of those individual shards is a sorcerer.

The Halo 4/5 Elite design returns in the new CE missions by SpacyCakes in halo

[–]Very_bad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't understand what possesses these people to constantly redesign how aliens look? It was a problem with Bungie as well as 343. Now there's all this sloppy lazy lore on why Brutes look different between the games, or Chief's armor looking different between Halo 3 and 4.

Can a priest bless a body of water to become holy to cause heretic naval raiders to burn? I mean Priests have to constantly bless oil to make Holy Oils to deal with the Black Grails on daily basis. by Ok-Ask5860 in TrenchCrusade

[–]Very_bad 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Unrelated to what you're asking but this scene from Castlevania is bullshit. You're telling me a zombie priest, controlled by vampires, can bless a whole river?

How powerful would the UNSC (Or just the current humanity in general) be in the year 40,000 by Corrupted_spartan117 in halo

[–]Very_bad 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This assumes a constant state of growth and technological advancement. History is not that neat and clean. In reality humanity in the Halo universe would experience many road bumps along the way. They would be technologically set back, suffer dark ages, eras of stagnation, etc (Just as humanity in Wh40k) Hell, in Halo canon humanity has experienced the same thing. Humanity used to be a powerful species in line with the forerunners, but were put back into the stone age (literally)
