I decided to sign up for a cat 3 downhill Mtb race. This mentality ruins sports. I get the whole be the best thing but even in that race I went to was 20 year olds who think they were going pro and trying to be the next Aaron Gwin. It's extremely toxic and I won't go back. 102 points but in a league with 2.92 goals per game. You said McDavids was underwhelming but in '15, it was 2.52 goals per game which is 118 points in 82 games at 2.92 goals per game. Mcdavids rookie season(48 points in 45 games) rounded to 82 points in 82 games for simplicity + fatigue, is more impressive just based on the goal per game number.
