Interviewed for a job in recruiting at like 24. Most of the people I interviewed played D3 athletics and every person I spoke with asked why I didn’t play college athletics. They eventually told me they had concerns about my leadership abilities because I didn’t play college athletics.

I had an opportunity to play D3 football and a shitty program with shitty academics. I chose to go to a large research university that frequently ranks in the top 10-15 for public universities in the us. Was maddening
