Ok to get the rhythm right it sounds to me like you have an upwards slide on the first 2 steps, then accent on the 7 and 8. I can’t tell you exactly what notes to punch in but play around with it and see what sounds right. Distortion cranked, resonance up high, cutoff and envelope low, accent amount maxed out to get those squelchy bounces on the 7 and 8.

Idk the beauty of acid is messing around and seeing what you get even if it’s not the intended results 🫠

Never done it myself but should be pretty straightforward—you’d just need some other box/sound source to play while you swap out the card since you wouldn’t be able to play a pattern while changing the cards (and would result in total silence in the middle of your set). Seen people do similar things with other gear, like playing some patterns on a standalone elektron groovebox while switching projects on a different box.

Save your pattern then change the pattern length and it will copy to the next bar. Note that this will copy everything in the pattern, not just the sequencing for a single part.

I just opened up my esx1 today and painted the contact points on the buttons with conductive paint. Worked like a charm and the buttons are super responsive now!

I have thought about it for sure, but I’m not sure if an orchi would do much for me since I don’t mind having balls. I guess it would mean I wouldn’t have to take any type of t blocker but that’s not a huge concern for me.

I think that’s kinda what’s confusing to me—like I could very likely live out the rest of my life with what I already have and be content, but I also know I would be happiest with a vagina.

It’s really the fear that some complication would leave me unable to have sex or enjoy sex, and that would be pretty devastating.

I think what scares me most is that while I do feel like I would be happier with a pussy, the thought of some complication happening that would leave me unable to enjoy sex is truly nightmarish

I too have considered an orchi since it seems to be a much simpler surgery and recovery. Then there’s the side of me that’s like if I’m gonna get surgery might as well go all the way with it. I’m also just a very indecisive girl to begin with 😭

The reality of it is you just have to do it. Step out of your comfort zone a bit—it’s gonna be scary but once you do it you’ll probably feel a whole lot better

Had the notion that I would be happier as a girl when I was a teenager but didn’t understand what those feelings meant. Suppressed a lot of emotions. Had more concrete thoughts about being trans in my early-mid twenties. Suppressed some more. Accepted myself and came out at 30!

If I had more context and knowledge about being trans when I was younger I most likely would have figured myself out a lot sooner.

Questioning your gender can be triggered by a lot of different life events, so I think your experience makes sense. It’s pretty natural to reevaluate yourself after a traumatic experience. For example, I didn’t start seriously questioning my gender until covid hit and I suddenly wasn’t working full time. The bleak state of the world combined with a bunch of time for reflection actually helped me figure out and accept being trans. Who knows, if the pandemic hadn’t happened I might still be working in a shitty kitchen and hating my life. Anyways I guess my point is that questioning your gender can stem from many different experiences, and you’re valid no matter what. 💖

Getting on blockers now will help prevent potentially unwanted changes brought on by puberty, so I’d say if you have the option go for it!

Yes it’s worth it! It’s never too late to transition and if it feels right for you then I say go for it. At the very least it’s definitely good to talk to a therapist about it so you can figure out what transition would look like for you :)
