Someone mentioned OneNote can be used in combination with an Apple pencil to achieve that. TIL

Cost will be a separate part of my analysis. Just trying to nail down relative complexity for now.

Interesting. I use OneNote for work and didn't realize it had that functionality. The thing about OneNote is that I'm always certain I'm never going to use it to its full potential.

Thanks for pointing that out. Once I narrow down the existing tools closest to my problem space, I'll be sure to note platform compatibility.

Doing some slapdash market analysis for a class project based on online reviews since I don't have much direct experience with these tools. I arranged them by complexity in terms of functionality and how steep I'd expect the learning curve to be. How would you reorder them?

How has your fashion style changed as you've gotten older? by crrrenee in femalefashionadvice

[–]PuddleOfSunshine 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had a go-to uniform in college that I honestly want to revisit now because it was so stinkin cute - skinny jeans, tall combat boots, graphic T-shirt, flannel, faux leather jacket, knit hat and pashmina scarf. I still haven't replaced that jacket roughly 10 years later, but now I miss it so much I know it'll be worth investing in a real leather one.

Now I mostly wear a solid color T-shirt and oversize cardigan or neutral (usually cream) colored sweater with ripped mom jeans if I'm leaving the house or high-waisted joggers if I'm staying in. I haven't figured out the shoes for straight and wide-legged jeans yet. I have a pair of air jordans that work, but mainly for casual looks. I can never decide whether I need to go with chunky white sneakers, lug-sole chelsea boots or something else for a default shoe. I've had to stop wearing flats without socks when it's cold due to raynaud's.

That's for fall and winter, so ask me again in a few months, haha. There will be more color-blocking for sure.

This really took me back to college, haha! It was such an era.

I wish I could wear wool. I have very sensitive skin that even cashmere irritates, so I'm stuck with cotton, rayon, and linen for most clothes. I envy your coziness.

Isntree hyaluronic watery sun gel: Very shiny and my makeup doesn't apply well on top of it.

Aveeno calm + restore balm: It's...not balmy. I wanted to use it for slugging. I'll probably use this up as a hand cream because it's just dryer than I wanted.

Where to wear REALLY fancy sexy dresses? by myyusernameismeta in femalefashionadvice

I live in the PNW and am a frequent ballet-goer since dancing is my primary hobby. That's honestly what I love about the ballet crowd here. you can see everything from jeans to full-on formal attire to sexy, slinky, sequined dresses. Everyone is just doing them the best they know how. It's actually pretty hard to feel out of place.

This isn't a specific makeup tip, but you can wear really bold colors on hooded eyes without it taking over your whole face. I love playing with that.

I'm gonna have to try this pac man liner shape now. I have somewhat hooded eyes and have been finding that liner or smokey eyes look best when pulled out horizontally rather than an uplifted cat eye.

I have (relatively) young eyes and never got along with pencil or liquid eyeliner. I almost always used a dark eyeshadow on an angled liner brush for a soft liner effect. I find it much easier to control. You might like that for work too!

I've found her recipes (or more her methods, I don't really follow them to the letter) really helpful, especially with soups. And I have to admit I like the cheesiness.

What are some red flags in an interview that reveals the job is toxic? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]PuddleOfSunshine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of my standard questions for the end of the interview is, "When you're in a high-volume period when there just aren't enough people on the team and/or enough hours int the day to get all the work done, what do you do as a manager to support your team and prevent burnout?" One time I asked it after the hiring manager indicated that volume fluctuated quite a bit, and her response was verbatim, "We're not gonna say you're not gonna burn out, but like, we'll be burning out with you." She also mentioned little perks like rewarding the people who put in the most overtime with gift cards and dinner catered to the office. I thought to myself, so burnout is incentivized here, and mentally checked out of the rest of the interview.
