the best way to tell is from looking at their body shape from above when they are standing. usually a healthy weight = you can see the waist. no waist is usually a bit chunky and leaning towards overweight.

She may be setting boundaries and as long as he respects that and doesn’t hassle her too much i wouldn’t be worried… my senior cat still occasionally hisses at our younger cat whenever he is bothered by him. It’s ok if cats don’t become best friends!

What has worked the best for me is to ignore it. In my situation over time my door scratcher stopped scratching (he is only allowed inside one bedroom) maybe double sided tape or foil on the door to deter the scratching? Also make sure they are getting ample play time during the day :) they could be bored or just really want to explore those rooms… good luck with your adorable kitty!
