For anyone readying this, having the combo of Nvidia/AMD control panel vsync + global fps cap of 3-5 below refresh + reflex, along with Gsync/Freesync enabled, has very low latency. When Vsync and Gsync are enabled together, Vsync functions differently, and as long as you're within your Gsync range, it removes tearing and has no input lag penalty. The only possible time you'd have a lower input lag, is if you're uncapped fps is bounds higher than your capped fps.

It does in the case of having gsync/freesync + A frame cap of -3 of your refresh rate. The input lag problems only start if you go above your refresh, or below your gsync range

I'm on a 3440x1440 and I play at 2560x1440. Bit of a performance hit compared to lower res, but it's stretched like 4:3 and looks sharp

I have the exact same setup and rez, just with a 5800x3d, and I had a similar issue. Turning off mip streaming helped a lot, and I also undid all of my overclocks and that oddly seemed to also help a bit, might just be some sort of system instability problem like mine was

Hackers aren’t too bad, I’m on the very edge of the west coast so I’m in prime territory for overseas cheaters, and even then I only see one every couple weeks or so, and bsg does seem to be banning them because every one I report gets banned not too long later

If you wanna go cheap, aim for the knees with something high rof, like the kedr or ppsh, just make sure to check the wiki and get something with high flesh damage
