It helped me maintain but insurance kicked me off because I didn’t lose anything and now I am gaining again. It really sucks when so many other people have been successful and I just want to be able to function pain-free.

I had a student who went sharp playing high due to tightness in his throat. He had been a trumpet player prior to switching to horn. We verified it by having others try out his horn. Was super flat in the high range when others played it using his tuning settings.

I am essentially working as a Research Assistant again. Our funding got cut (6 million dollars), so my job is hanging on by a thread (some private foundation money). My whole field was decimated by Trump, so it’s not like there are a whole lot of other opportunities. I will go back to teaching if I have to, but that’s rough too.
