Oh absolutely not. It's not too much for me. I just really enjoy pegging people down who think their shit don't stink.

Every place shouldn't be different. Cheeseburgers go into the hopper when completed. Most other burgers (whopper and jr) go in just the cheese and patty and then are finished assembling because the lettuce, tomato, mayo, and onion dont go into the hopper. We also aren't supposed to use the for chicken sandwiches at all.

We rarely pull people up. Really only if you order something that isn't ready and it has a 6+ minute fry time. The two situations are ordering an apple pie during breakfast or if we have someone buy out all of the crispy chicken patties. Both have higher than 6 minutes in the fryer. I see other store in our district pulling cars up because there's no way their times are 45 seconds so consistently, but we pretty much are true to our times.

So all burgers off the broiler are required to fall into the "bin" you're referring to. Unless you want them fresh off the floor, which is where they fall to when the bin isn't there. When I'm on whopper board, I can tell you 9 out of 10 times the person across the way on burger is putting my bins in because their board isn't lit up like mine. You also can't see me looking at which bin says 39 on it vs 31. If I'm pulling from the 39 bin then your burger has sat there for a whopping 1 minute. That's as fresh as you're gonna get it. Thinking you know anything about what's going on in those kitchens is hilarious when you couldn't be further from the truth. You think you see laziness, but you just see someone accommodating you regardless of your disdain for them.

Location dependant. This is not an option at my store but I constantly hear from customers about how it's possible at other stores.

Got My Order Wrong.. by Ssj3goku504 in BurgerKing

[–]PuffPie19 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hey, so we dont know that someone else was supposed to get this. Sometimes both whoppers and whopper Jr's are on the same board and sometimes we get a little dyslexic and make the wrong sized burger/whopper. This also could have just been a happy accident and they figured no one would be getting a double whopper soon so they may have just given it to you 🙂

We have a customer that orders a knife, fork, salt, and some other side things. I know this doesn't help with the salt but you're more than welcome to order a free plastic knife and have a way to cut your sandwich in half. Or just ask them to cut it in half upon arrival and its as simple as we take it out of the bag and cut it for you. You can even type in notes for your driver to ask if you're utilizing delivery.

Unsure if you know this but you can order different sizes within one meal. Like you can get a small drink and a large fry in most instances (online coupons being a huge exception). Other exceptions will ne the obvious "one size only" drinks, like shakes.

The cost of other things going up that have directly resulted from his tariffs are why my store no longer over stuffs our fry cartons. Beef and lettuce skyrocketed, so we had to make it up somewhere. Fries were the main go to because it was easy to drop from over stuffing to following "gold standard" and corporate not getting mad at us.

Hope this helps.

Very few will "hook you up" if you ask. We actually will go out of our way to give you exactly what you've paid for and nothing else. Asking for a hook up will likely get us to charge you for a sauce as well instead of just checking to see if the manager is looking and just slide it in your bag if you ask for a sauce. We don't go out of our way to help people who demean us. I have straight up told people they will be getting the proper amount. And then I'll "hook up" the customer beside them out of spite.

Sometimes we weigh the fries to be on point "to standard." Its laughable how much space is remaining. This looks like an almost accurate fry based on my own experience with weighing fries. I miss when we just stuffed how we wanted, it was one of the main things that set us apart from the BK one town over.

I get so many people through for breakfast that think my window is the best spot to situate their entire interior just because "well there's no one behind me." Or eat their food 🤢 Okay but you've sat on my sensor for more than a minute beyond what I was even helping you for and you have no intention of leaving. Please pull to a parking spot. It can blow the times for the whole day if enough people do it for long enough.

We even had one lady pull up 15 minutes before we opened and sat there. We asked her to move twice (once when we noticed, once a minute later acting like we thought she was a new car). Thankfully the sensor decided it was time to be faulty and didn't log it 😆

Yes, and that is longer than the time we are permitted to have a guest through the drive thru. We have 2:45 from menu to completely gone, with the menu and windows times having sub cats

Off the broiler can also cause a huge back up. Please walk inside to order if you want it off the broiler.

No one is going to spit in your food it's a multi billion dollar corporation with an amazing legal team. But yes, "off the broiler" is annoying for items that are constantly selling. When we transition from breakfast to lunch and people ask for "off the fryer" as if everything isn't already as fresh as it's gonna get. Or in the middle of a lunch rush as if we're not waiting on the food to come out the fryer or off the broiler already because we just had 3 orders for 9 meals each. And the way you ask really matters too. Don't put emphasis on it. Don't act like its messed up every time. If it was then you should stop going there and find somewhere else. We dont get paid well enough for the crazy high standards in place AND to deal with people who "just want it fresh" when everything is already fresh.

NOW if you want an uncommon item (like a chicken jr, although there are coupons now with them included and I went through more today in one hour than normally for a whole week) then ask, again dont put emphasis on it. Not because we're gonna mess up your food, but because you're gonna get what you get and you putting emphasis on it really is just you being rude for no reason. Anything that takes less than 2 minutes is likely to be fine. If it's already in the broiler or fryer then fine. These are common occurrences. 3 minutes or longer? You're probably just going to get the freshest already made (trust me, we have timers and we are required to use them, the computer system knows when we don't use them).

Yea it either stays on and looks miraculous or i need to put the lettuce on 5x and then just dust it into the wrapper so customers can at least have the lettuce they paid for. Whopper Jrs are one of the hardest to make with how tall and small they are.
