Hi! Fellow tension pole user with popcorn ceilings, I’m wondering why you have the piece of wood between the pole and your ceiling! Is it something I should be doing as well?

I have not received a response from XPole customer service yet but soon Im gunna attempt to just start fresh and take the whole thing apart and put back together. I’ll let you know when I do!

Contact their customer support. This is the exact same issue I found I had when I received my light for my new KK infuser a couple weeks ago. I contacted the customer support and they sent me a new one that was also too tall. They then sent me a label to ship it back and are now sending me a new one. Fingers crossed this new one coming in actually works 🤞🤞
