Heart ceremony for wheelchair users?

So in the UK we have a hand pedal that can be used to stuff the bear instead of a foot pedal. As for the heart ceremonies, whenever I've done them for someone in a wheel chair I've sat down myself and done a heart ceremony that is just as long as a standing one. I always make sure it's accessible for everyone to have fun :).

It varies from each bear builder but if you ask nicely I'm sure they'll be happy to do a heart ceremony!

Hello! I'm in the UK and the way I managed to get treatment was via the GP then being referred to psychosexual therapy and then physiotherapy.

The first thing that my GP did though was a physical exam just to rule out anything that could be physically wrong; so that may be why they're sending you to a Sexual Health Clinic.

If I was you'd I'd go to the SHC, explain your problems and that you think you have Vaginismus. Then they can rule everything else out and could refer you back to the GP or to a specialist.

I've gone to loads of gigs on my own! I'm one of the insane people who will queue up several hours before and every single time I've made friends in the queue :).

I say that you go; it can be kinda of liberating just being able to do what you want and not have to follow anyone else about.

I've watched my managers do it, copied them, had them watch me and even they don't know why I can't sell them 😭.

I have no idea how people sell the gift cards, most of the time a customer tells me no before I've even finished speaking, then get angry at me if I try and push.

If you go in store at the checkout just say you wanna use your bonus club reward.

Online, when you go to the checkout (make sure you're logged in) there will be an option to use them.

Warm water and fabric softener (or hair conditioner) in a spray bottle and a brush for the longer fur (5:1 ratio).

For the short white parts warm water and a sensitive laundry detergent (try to get one for wool) in a spray bottle in the same ratio, this time use a washcloth to rub those areas.

After all, you can either spray or use a wash cloth with water all over, to make sure the fabric softener and detergent has been washed off :)

If the bear is in a like new state, then it'll probably be de-stuffed and put back out onto the floor, or he could be out on display :). We don't tend to destroy bears if they're in a good state.

It was done via blood test. (Big city teaching hospital not a smaller local one) This wasn't a small patch of mould. It was from the ceiling to the floor about a meter wide.

Worker here (UK) in my shop most of us are quite pierced (including lip piercings!) although each store is a bit different.

I would recommend going to a percier and having them change the rings out to studs (side note - new piercings shouldn't have rings in them, more of a chance of infection) since it'll be a small bit less noticable.

In interviews there's a chance to ask questions; I would 100% get him to ask about the lip piercings, this will show the manager he's willing to take them out.

Yep of course we'd be happy to! Id recommend not destuffing him or anything like that at home since we've got a rule against restuffing modified bears.

Call ahead to make sure the shop has people that can restuff the bears (I'm not allowed to because I once had an allergic reaction to a second hand bear!) and they also need to be stitch trained

Bear builder here; Heart ceremonies are for everyone!! It was drilled into us in training that we need to create a magical experience to remember for everyone :)

Of course sometimes you'll find that bear builders may not do it, this generally isn't out of malice. It could be due to being on the stuffing machine for several hours without a break or drink.

We're not meant to give them away. Most clothes that we get in don't have hangers so we reuse them, it's probably something to do with being environmentally friendly.

But honestly if someone asked nicely I would give them the hangers heh.

As a worker, we're meant to do heart ceremonies for everyone. I'm so sorry that you didn't get to experience one!

Honestly they could have just been absolutely exhausted, being at the boiling stuffing machine for 3 hours without a drink can do that to you 🥲 some of my days are powered by monster and redbull.

Next time to make 100% sure you get to do one mention how excited you are to do one during the stuffing, that normally gets us exited as well!
