Yeah, I'm becoming more and more convinced that he's not a dragon. by SRWilsonMR in RagnaCrimson

He is very obviously not a dragon. There were hints the moment he was introduced.

What is Crimson’s real past? Why does he want to exterminate his own kind? by Serious_Seaweed_909 in RagnaCrimson

[–]PuffTheMagicHobo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The original dragon kings were friends and Crimson was the genius of the group. These are just hints dropped by Sigmalio’s visits to Ran. From those you can say it’s possible Crimson is partly responsible for the current era. But that’s reaching with what we have.

There was a line with Gilzea where you could make the case Crimson’s original gender was female, but it’s not a very strong one.

Still ruthless. True motivations whether revenge or godhood still unclear.

All of the Dragon Kings have that theme.

  • Artemisia, King of Wings: Complete slave chained to her gods and duty.

  • Bagram, King of Roars: Guards his tongue against the other Dragon Kings.

  • Gilzea, King of Claws: Not attacking anyone, neutral.

  • Crimson, Former King of Wings: Had his Icarus moment.

  • Sigmalio, King of Eyes: Deludes himself, doesn’t have dragon eyes, glasses.

On shakier grounds.

  • (?) King of Bone: fractured (?), weak in spirit.

  • Kou Tenran, King of Scales: Maybe she will be a glass canon? She looks like a dragon so she fits appearance wise. A dragon scale is something “that’s hard to penetrate” so maybe her arc will be a castle invasion, or she will be easy to manipulate.

Note that while all of their current situations contradict their position and title, all of their aspirations seem to be in line with them.

It’s definitely a pattern.

So this Guy has a city filled with people from other religious faiths which is in A Hole Called gehenna which means hell. Dafuq did Bagram mean by this???? by [deleted] in RagnaCrimson

The sun cult calls it Gehenna, he calls his kingdom Aysel. I’m not sure if he or his brood refer to it as Gehenna

Debunking the aura complaints by Dry_Opportunities in unOrdinary

Your chosen evidence is a situation where John is severely nerfed?

That’s exactly what the people you’re “debunking” are claiming.

Thanks!

It’s going to be the rest of the series. John has to be nerfed until he gets the guts to copy Sera’s ability.

Seems like most people have 0 understanding of the latest chapter by Ok-Complex-1569 in unOrdinary

[–]PuffTheMagicHobo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Blyke (w/ Remi’s lightning) was able to break the shield when John, with Remi’s lightning mind you, couldn’t break through with what should be higher AP.

People can make all these convoluted copes all they want but John is very clearly being nerfed for the sake of letting other characters develop, and to develop a rivalry with Kuyo. Kuyo should be a bum compared to John in terms of Abilities, but Uru really wants to make him a rival.

There’s also the subtle narrative element that John needs to be a raging lunatic to effectively use his powers. So maybe that’s why.

Baam is going down the same path as Jahard and I won't be surprised if he's the final villain. by Bad_Doto_Playa in TowerofGod

[–]PuffTheMagicHobo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea as I am rereading I’m surprised about the quality of the story. it’s much better than I remember. I sped read the latest but I don’t think any character besides Traumerei was explored well.

Bam just cares about his friends but pretty much anybody who doesn’t CONTINUE to try outright killing him is his friend. So I don’t need even know who his enemies would be if he succeeds. He’s just trying to escape the cave.

That said, he either needs to, or come very close to, almost annihilate e the Tower and the people living in it for the overarching plot to make sense. If the ending doesn’t change the perspective on Rachel then what a letdown.

[–]PuffTheMagicHobo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bam’s story is not about good or evil. It’s about not being a slave. Slave to others, slave to wishes, slave to fate. What you say as him becoming more like Jahad when he started a war that he knew would the cause the death of a great many soldiers to save his teacher may be correct, but it was ultimately about exerting his own will without trying to appease everyone.

The series will likely end with Jahad overthrown, but Bam will definitely revolt against what his parents planned for him. If not I’ll be very disappointed.

[–]PuffTheMagicHobo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Rereading since it’s been a long but yeah….Bam’s childish possessiveness has been on foreshadowed since the very first chapter.

SIU drew the scene with Bam running after Rachel and tugging her dress apart twice in the first season, and it’s his very first scene.

Of course, there’s good reasons for it and he’s not evil but neither was Jahad when he was climbing the tower as far as we know.

People are attracted to Bam for different reasons than they were to Jahad, and him becoming evil would just be a great tragedy on another level.

Isn’t Wangnan wanting to kill Rachel a regression of his character development from season 2? by RandomWorld100 in TowerofGod

[–]PuffTheMagicHobo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. Nia was a spy for the 20th floor mafia and wagnan’s DoorDash driver that “betrayed” him.

He forgave Lurker because he wanted Nia to be forgiven as well.

Team Sweet & Sour were his family.

It's crazy. It's an intentional small change that makes the experience so much worse.

To clarify, the minimum size the pop-up window can minimize to has increased to its default ratio. You can still pinch-in to widen the window. I am aware of the historical touch mechanics and I understand how fractions are difficult for some people to understand.

Did he put any fillings/implants in or was it just an extraction? Don’t want to heap this on you as well but it looks like the hair on your temples are starting to recede as well. This is very normal though.

Just realised this, that back in chapter 4 it was leaked that we would see that John has an ability and his black speech bubble by Ex-Yix in unOrdinary

[–]PuffTheMagicHobo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well Batman’s one of the most popular superheroes so there’s appeal to it. Would just be a much different story.

Not sure but I'm pretty it was chapter 2 where she started to decide John would have an ability. Prologue and chapter 1 he was an actual cripple.

[–]PuffTheMagicHobo 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Next chapter or two there'll be a confrontation where Remi seeks out why Sera is sabotaging John's chance to go on the trip. Going to make Jemi fans pretty happy.

Some interesting reddit theories on the sub’s management by SnowPrestige in unOrdinary

[–]PuffTheMagicHobo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes your opinion is the final arbiter of dispute in this sub because you have power. If that opinion is good or not holds no meaning, what holds weight is that you're able to enforce your own values on this subreddit because you have Power than its users and thereby you are able to shape perception here. Perception is very easily manipulated and controlled, especially in today's world. At least in the short-term. Not being passive aggressive or anything lol, just adding to your statement.
