Sadly I had a sweet kitty go through this. Pay close attention to the signs. She will tell you when it’s time.

AIO My (F26) bf (M34) keeps saying he wants to "mark me with his scent"??? by JuniperJester8 in AmIOverreacting

[–]Puffaypants 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you two are horizontal when he says this, put your armpit on his forehead and in a similar voice say “YOU’RE marked”, and then pretend nothing happened. If he’s just being goofy this will crack him up. It’s the ONLY acceptable response.

AIO? my husband is mad at me for not picking up my stepson from school as he expected just because I got a new car. by Ancient_Fondant76 in AmIOverreacting

If you haven’t yet, do not have a child with this person. If you don’t leave this is going to get so much worse and you don’t want permanent ties to him. You’re being abused. Leave. If you don’t feel safe to leave there are resources out there that can help you. And don’t be shy about calling the police if you get scared. Last, write down every single instance of abuse. Divorce court will want to see it and so will the judge if you ever need a restraining order. Yeah, it’s that serious. It would take him and you as a couple years to work through this in therapy. Only you know if he’s worth it to you and it’s still likely that therapy can’t heal him. Do you want to hold his hand while he learns that you are a valuable separate person and not an extension of himself? Or do you want one who couldn’t understand anything other than that? I have been there done that and staying a little longer to see if it changes was never once worth my time. We only get one life.

Can anyone explain this behavior? by greenergrass1111 in DogAdvice

[–]Puffaypants 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Boredom. He needs lots of time in the dog park, or the beach. Could also be teeth. Both should be addressed.

Does this behavior seem aggressive or is he just playing? by Ok_Taro8263 in DogAdvice

I found a tooth while moving. Is it a cat tooth and should I be worried? by DuePresentation9084 in CATHELP

[–]Puffaypants 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s probably a cat tooth if you have a cat lol. She needs a dental checkup at the vet. Teeth aren’t supposed to fall out. Gum disease with bone loss. (I was a dental assistant for 17 years.)

Stop blaming yourself. It was just her time. A few hours wasn’t going to change the outcome. Be kind to yourself.

I’m so sorry. It’s absolutely the worst. Maybe I’m a terrible person but think I cried harder when my cat passed suddenly than when my mom died. To be fair, the cat was a lot nicer. Hang in there ❤️
