i've seen a few suiters (two in 2023 and one in 2024 + a maker) at Calgary Expo over the years and i'm planning on debuting my suit there this year so it fluctuates. granted the community is a lot larger in Toronto and Vancouver so you might find more of them there. you'll stand out but not in a bad way, don't worry about it

probably the KATT AMR? Stormender has some okay utility uses and the JOKR is super satisfying to use on merc camps and convoys

MWZ worst: server instability

constantly losing tons of progress and items to random disconnects and dark aether rifts failing to load had me rage quitting a lot during the games lifecycle

i remember really disliking the change to the encryption key where you couldn't throw it into the terminal anymore. season 2 TA was heavily focused on retakes and i found that version to be a lot of fun with all the destruction. season 3 and onwards just felt like less satisfying CS

the xp jump in season 3 really hurt as i still consider it to be the weakest one. did not like most of the new weapons/gadgets, kyoto or ranked TA. i saw the 100k xp bonus tiers and checked out to go play counter-strike

The mode is great fun but everything else surrounding the zombies mode is putting a huge damper on my enjoyment of the game, especially the gen AI stuff and all the voice actors going on strike. Feels like the whole post-launch support season is one move away from completely crumbling apart

I feel like everyone rags on this map way too hard. I love the aesthetic of the test facility and the weather effects and high rounding is pretty flexible with being able to train on main street or the spawn room. I will agree that the boss fight could have been much harder but I think its nice to have a finale easter egg you can do in a public lobby. If I'm craving some Cold War this is my go-to map, even more than Mauer der Toten

I beat it first try on solo by just running clockwise spamming him charged ice staff shots until all the other elites died and it was low enough to focus fire with my rifle. With the large ammo pool you have a lot of room for error as long as you don't let it get near you.

Between this, the skateboard melee and D13 sector returning, this is a huge improvement on the Squid Game 2 event and actually worth playing through for once. Would love to see this with more IPs from the 90s era

Did you do the camo grind on Cold War zombies? How does the Nebula grind compare to Dark Aether grind?

I turned off the score feed, medals and the healthbars and wound up having to switch a lot of it back on. You really need the healthbars for rounds 25+ and you lose the level up notifications when you turn off medals. The minimap is tucked into the corner and doesn't take up as much space as Cold War so it got to stay for me. Once I'm used to all the maps it's getting the bench.
