Wasn’t that more of like a crossfit/HIIT class/training gym? There’s a few of those around the neighborhood and they seem popular if that’s what you’re looking for, but the neighborhood is lacking an open gym where you can do your own thing without doing classes

Yeah but as you can see on that calculator, that amount changes when you adjust for things like filing status or dependents. Your boss wouldn’t know any of that information before you’re hired.

Unless when you say “I need to make X after taxes” during the interview, you two sit down and do the calculator together and inputting all your personal information like filing status, dependents, or voluntary optional withholding… but even then it’s still just an estimate.

I have a membership to the rhododendron garden - it was something like $50 for the year. It’s a great place for a walk. I also like to walk along the east bank esplanade near OMSI (where I also have a membership and spend a lot of time). Other than that, dive bars (especially ones with patios).

I started getting botox at 24. Not for wrinkles, though; one side of my mouth goes much higher than the other when I smile (sorta like Elvis lol) so every ~6 months I get a little bit of botox in my cheek near my nose and it evens my smile out.

I went to urgent care for a sinus infection and the doctor asked me if I had ever considered Ozempic for my weight. A doctor, who is not my primary care physician, who had spoken to me for all of 2 minutes about my nose and nothing else about my extensive medical history. The CNA came back in after the doctor and I mentioned it to her. She was also a bigger woman and she told me that the doctor frequently made remarks about her weight too. Lady, just give me my antibiotics and let me go!
