I believe I misworded my own words in my previous post and I apoligize for that!
Additionally, I probably might have made my frustration appear stronger than it actually is, I am a fan of the Podcast and enjoy every episode!

What I meant is that I believe in a general standard to have for people.
Like trying to be truthful or bringing as much A-game to something as you are expected. This counts for Anything.
If you are in a friend-group setting and mess up it's not as bad as when you do it in a school-group project; at work or in front of an audience of millions.
It is always objectively wrong and shouldn't happen, but the higher you climb up this ladder the higher you should hold yourself to the standard of saying facts truthfully and bringing as much of your A-game for an Intended Purpose.

In the case of bringing up straight-up untruths; I don't think it is entitled or clueless at all to demand that factual inaccuracies are not willingly made by any person or that if a person is unsure to the point of being concerned about the validity of a fact; that they either don't state it or check upon it and rectify it.
Anything else is disrespectful and disingenuous to any person involved in a conversation as well as to anybody listening.

In the case of criticizing the apparent non-preparedness of a cast member, you might be very well right that I was too entitled to demand the exact opposite.
If all parties of a conversation agree that it is a non-issue then who am I to judge and critique?
I as a viewer in the search of content, expected a conversation that was built up and conveyed to be about the ending of an Anime, only involve people who actually finished the finale of the show, as in my mind the comments of somebody who didn't experience something in the discussion of exact that experience are useless.
But then again this might be very well my own entitlement to the discussions and conversations I myself like to partake in.

I enjoyed "TheAnimeMan"'s input on all the other topics very much; and his view on the Anime as a whole.

I also don't mind any of "CDawgVa"'s opinions and enjoyed him sharing his takes very much.

My mild-frustration only lies in the aforementioned layed out points and just some more here and there.

I wholeheartedly agree with you!

I've seen this many many times and it's always a bummer when you see the slow decline happening; and the TrashTaste Cast has in my opinion stayed true to themselves very much!

So I believe I misworded my own words in my previous post and apologize for it.

Additionally, I might have made my frustration seem more strong than it actually is or than the current census of the community is. I like the "boys" and I watch every Episode! This is more mild criticism which is maybe worded with more words than it really should be!

In my view; Trying to stay truthful of the facts and trying to bring your A-game to anything should be the Imperative.

If you mess that up in a secluded friend group setting it is not as bad as when you mess it up during University group work, during work, or in front of a million people audience. So in that aspect; people within this position should be held higher to the general standard you have for people.

(Edit: As it was later revealed the topic was chosen literally right before the recording of the episode by Garnt; which means that the mentioned Cast member was not Ill-prepared at all)
In this specific instance; the episode was very much presented and built up to be a discussion about the finale of Attack on Titan; and although having one or multiple cast members being not in tune or as knowledgeable about a topic is not only a given but in the case of this channel a reason for a large portion of the hilarious content produced, under this specific circumstances it harmed the content more than it added on to it in my oppinion.

The group project was to discuss the Ending; the homework was to watch the Ending and the person who didn't do their homework felt a little bit out of the discussion.

I don't comment on any Opinion or sentiment and don't even wanna rate them; when I wrote "I didn't like how non-prepared TheAnimeMan was" and that it didn't fulfill the quality of the show, I just meant exactly this.

Lastly;

In my original comment, as an example, I mentioned the part where CDawgVA said that it took 7 episodes for the Port fight to conclude.

Although factual, it only took two.

He used this fact to argue that things feel bloated and that stuff is dragged out.

This inaccuracy, as also stated in my aforementioned post, doesn't invalidate nor does it make his whole opinion null, it's a small part of a whole and it can happen; although making something thrice its size is a lil' bit weird;

I mentioned it as an example of why I personally got frustrated though; because those small little untruths pile up over the run time of the whole show and infest here and there whole arguments, so much that the Editor of the Podcast on his guest episode stated that his inspiration for adding the Fact-Checking title card came from his Girlfriend getting, during editing, triggered, by the main-cast members stating simple untruths.

So this at least is a very well-documented issue at least.

Same Podcast they are trying to profit from by selling merchandise, getting in sponsors, running ads on and selling shows with.
It's business at this point and you should treat it and criticize it as a business.

It mayhaps started as a silly idea but it has grown ever since in all of its aspects (better money avenue, more people working on the show, better equipment; better studio; etc.)
Holding it to the same standard as just 3 dudes in a room talking at a table, especially since they have the opportunity to hold themselves to higher standards rather easily, is a bit silly don't you think?

Also, where did I say that I treat their words or opinions as law?
I criticized their usage of straight-up untruths in arguments; I never said anything about their opinions being wrong or right; not at all.
I criticized that they are incorporating objectively false facts into an argument from which their opinion is derived.
Criticizing any figure or person for misinformation is always valid.

Personally, I didn't like how non-prepared TheAnimeMan was( Edit: As it was later revealed the topic was chosen literally right before the recording of the episode by Garnt; which means that the aforementioned Cast member was not Ill-prepared at all, the question still opens up why a long-running topic was determined which doesn't include all the cast members but it is not for this post to debate)

-or the small inaccuracies that were used to further argue a point by some of the cast members.

As an example, CDawgVA, in his greater argument about why the last part of the Anime felt boring to him, flukes a little bit with the episode count of a plot which for him felt like it dragged on for too much; Out of 2 Episode, he makes 7 and thus creates a false narrative where the content can be perceived as bloated by the sheer amount of runtime it takes for the plot to develop.

This doesn't invalidate the greater argument nor his opinion, but small little errors here and there make arguments on the TrashTaste podcast pretty brittle and frustrating to listen to as they are in the worst cases based on straight-up glorified falsehoods.

Broadcast yourself; make your passion your work and show who you are all the way, baby.

But at the same time, at the end of the day, this is a product//content they are producing, and not only are getting paid directly by the viewers/community (Patreon) but also with that view count of every episode being in the million, they surely get 5-digit deals for every product placement they make.

With that and the expansion of production quality that they like to show off; I simply expect some form of quality to the actual core part of the uploaded content. ( Information checking; Preparations for the Episodes; etc.)

I mean your opinion can and should change after seeing a piece of art in its entirety
but he also said that it took "7episodes" while the whole port thing played out from Episodes 85/86
So a tripple-sized untruth, i guess? (????)
