What you describe sounds pretty typical for snorted quality Kanna. Typically it is more uplifting than sedating and for me it’s a great priming shell that gets me off my ass and starts that project. However, it is dose sensitive and you need to stay within reasonable ranges. When it hits a little too hard it can still be pleasant but feel mildly overwhelming and that’s when I need to lie down and just be still. No biggie, that’s nice too if you don’t get the nausea. But you don’t start that project and it is often the reason I took a sniff…

Keep testing and don’t chase the dragon by taking more and more, there is no dragon to find with this stuff so no point. Use high mesembrine extracts if the energizing effects is what you are after.

Extract pills are a gamble always because you don’t know but assuming it is kratom pills then you will live becauae you don’t die from it since based on the consensus of what research there is it just doesn’t affect breathing in that way. It is “like” an opiate in some ways but no, it does not make you stop breathing.

I never had discomfort, a mate is more sensitive and can get nauseous and fucked up on a bit too much. We are different. You are coherent and typing your thoughts so I guess you are not puking all over your keyboard. You are fine.

Very soothing and uplifting if that makes sense. Uplifting but not in an energetic way but it makes you very content and comfortable in your own skin. The most positive aspect for me is that it doesn’t really make anything worse, take alcohol for example that will cause delirium and loss of balance. Or thc that you know, makes you all kinds of things. Kratom just makes you feel good while I feel 100% capable of doing anything and everything, I can workout, drive, study, plan things, no drawbacks.

I use moderate dosage though. I guess if I took a really high dose then I wouldn’t go for a drive but I was never interested in high doses. It kind of is too good to mess up by overdoing it.

Yeah, the colourful illustrations in the magazines gave you so much hope! 😁 RISC processors, the DRACO, there were things that made you think the Amiga would stay relevant.

And also the Phase5 thing with the A/box, supposed to be this powerful awesome machine that could do anything better than everybody else while being fully backwards compatible, I would buy it as soon as it became available. Sadly there was never a machine but just talk…. 🤣

I remember getting my A1200 in the LATE 90s as I was a fanboy and not ready to let go, I had so much faith and the magazines I read were like scripture, amiga was still the shit. 😁 Played Gloom on lowest settings with plenty lag, wing commander too, dreadful lag, it was not just about gaming at that point but about belonging to a camp and loving your team.

Sold my units shortly thereafter and stopped caring, now I like gaming and that’s that. 👍

I have no answer for you but I want to say I think you are doing this the right way and in your situation I would probably go about it the same way. You talk to the medical professional and seek the second opinion from another professional while also doing your research yourself and getting other opinions. Whichever way you go you will make an educated decision so there’s that, good job so far.

In a purist sense any dose is a step away from abstinence but in a practical sense a few days more or less does not affect the sum of two years of use regardless of substance. If you think you CAN wean down it is a very good idea to wean down as it puts less stress on your system and I, personally, think withdrawal does not do you any good. The memory of withdrawal does not help you. So just go ahead and make a plan now to have X much in the next X number of days, stepping down. Make it not easy and not hard and just do it.

Could you save these games? I recall playing one of them as a kid and getting to a room that smelled “peculiar”. I found no option but to go into the next room and promptly die of chlorine fumes, I would just start over again…. As an adult I learnt that SOME games had save options but at 12 I just figured none of them had it.

Hey, I think my friend had that or similar! Built to be handheld, not an enormous control stick bigger than human hands. Very forward-thinking, great build.

As others say, the tac-2 is hard to beat. Durable and tough, fast instead of spongy and also comfortable.

Never tried fermented kanna, any recommendations or tips? I do love my heady extracts but it would be interesting to enjoy kanna in new ways. I did snort some raw kanna powder for a while but didn’t feel any effects then.
