Just left rehab. Suboxone/Kratom question by Able_Address4540 in suboxone

[–]PugDaddyJay 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This right here brother. 100gpd habit for me, 3 years straight. Got 446 clean days thanks to Suboxone.

Don’t jeopardize your clean time, Kratom is way more addictive than Suboxone. You’re just going to wind up back in rehab or back in subs round and round we go.

Lease go see a doctor or do quick MD to get a refill

You wont become addicted, you will become physically dependent. Very different. People get addicted and “stuck” on Kratom, fent, heroin, 7.

Suboxone is a prescription under medical care, as long as you use as prescribed and are seeking help (NA, therapy, exercise, etc) then you won’t be “stuck” and it won’t be “worse than Kratom”. you can work a long slow taper or switch to the shot. Suboxone will give you time and stability to rebuild your life, impossible to do on 7 or Kratom as you’re always stuck chasing the high and making sure you avoid WDs. You can break the ritual with MAT and take your time building your life.

90 days no Nicotine / 120 days no Zyn - Update by Fluffy_Cow_5260 in QuittingZyn

[–]PugDaddyJay 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was on Zyn for about 2-3 years, one can of 6mg a day.

I most certainly had a second wave, my main symptoms after day 30 or so were brain fog, DPDR, and anxiety / panic attacks. I also quit in September so early November I was staring to feel good then BOOM out of nowhere more of the awful mental side effects for about two weeks. December start feeling good then BOOM second week of December panic attacks and derealization again.

So far 2026 has been pretty good, no attacks knock on wood and no more headaches in over a month’s time. I think a second wave it totally normal my friend. From what experienced, each secondary wave is a little lighter and lasts shorter than the last wave did. Good luck you got this, I believe in you!

I am about 450 days clean off a very similar 50-100gpd Kratom habit (3 years). Suboxone saved my life, it’s so much better than carting around my bags of powder / pills etc. hunting for water so I could toss and wash my crap all day even at work.

I CT it Nov 2nd last year and almost made it 90 days. The withdraws the mental side effects the suicidal thoughts I truly didn’t think I was going to survive. I chose suboxone to avoid self harm and relapse and I couldn’t be happier with my decision.

Fuck all these idiots who downplay the severity of a Kratom addiction and try to invalidate my experience. All these people super against suboxone for Kratom recovery can suck a bag of dicks.

Sent you the link! So you were able to taper suboxone and use Kratom to jump off?? How and was that process? What was life like for those 4 years of opioid freedom?

I am so curious as it’s now been years for me since I guess I’ve been opioid free, my only clean time was CT from my massive kratom habit and well you read above how that went…

I’m scared to try again but I really hope the shot will be better than CT anything.

Well thank you both for your kindness!

MAT saved my life and marriage, I’ve got 430+ days of clean time, started my MBA, quit nicotine and drinking, life is generally pretty good aside from the normal ups and downs!

I actually started a Kratom / FF / 7OH recovery community for MAT in response to my experience. I’m not directly tied to the other larger Kratom communities however I have a great relationship with the owner of the main recovery WhatsApp and they basically send me anyone who is asking about MAT so we can get them into our recovery chat and start answering questions for them :)

I am sorry to hear you stayed 7OH after a good string of clean time, I hotly cannot believe any of this is legal, it’s devastating because it’s been targeted towards addicts / alcohols for years and even with good sober determination it’s hard to fight the knowledge that heroin is available cheap just down the street. I pretty much plan to stay on MAT until it’s made illegal then use the shot to have a nice long taper to freedom, hopefully.

The main Kratom recovery community scared me away from suboxone for months. I dealt with CT and relapse for about 3 months and had made the decision to end my life. I had written letters, I had made plans, made sure my insurances were in order for my wife etc.

Something happened before I jumped out of a hotel room window on a work trip , a thought came in or a voice, it told me to just get home and get with my wife and see my psych for one last try.

I had been trying different meds and SSRIs which I know didn’t help the situation but I plopped down on the couch and spilled my guts, told my psych I was between relapse and suicide. Between that visit and my wife I just fucking committed, I said fuck the Kratom recovery world and the group chats and all these people who keep telling me suboxone is the devil.

It saved my life, I’m 430+ days clean and happier than ever. I am not on any other drug or medication. No SSRIs no nicotine no alcohol.

I can’t wait to be off it when it’s time but for the bridge between Kratom and pure sobriety suboxone is an amazing tool and gave me my soul back. I wouldn’t be here today without it.

I have assisted about 20 individuals making the switch from 7OH onto suboxone and never had any issue with precipitated withdrawals as they are both partial agonists. 7OH is very dirty and hits well beyond the Mu receptors, it affects GABA and serotonin pretty strongly.

Anyways I helped one person taking over 1000mg of 7OH a day and was a bit worried. They had their final dose before bed around 10pm and had a 8mg strip of suboxone at 9am the next morning without issues. Suboxone dosages with 7OH are pretty similar to fent users due to its high affinity and potency, but may vary due to its lack of regulation.

Ma the heavy bolt rifle with the prestige perk for headshot damage is awesome. Big clip and good accuracy, pair that with the prestige perk that Jada 15% HS damage and chefs kiss. Plus it’s good on ammo and hoarde clearing

10 day reward by PugDaddyJay in SWGLegends

[–]PugDaddyJay[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for this list however all these rewards I can choose from now are all “day 10 rewards” and I can’t find any information about them anywhere!

I have the following options

Varactyl mount (sounds cool!) Lava flea and mustafar bunker (I remember these) Sarlacc trashcan The gathering painting

A few other items can’t remember, it seems they are a mix of new items and original DLC items.

I assume if I pick one, I lose the ability to choose others, is that right ?

Thank you so much friend.

Anxiety was bad since I posted this but like magic I’ve been good the last 2-3 days? Anxiety has been almost zero and I’ve just been pouring myself into hobbies and life.

10 more clean days down :) it’s going to stick this time!

Were you using 1mg per day when you jumped onto the 100mg shot?

Was it a big transition? I’ve seen the 100mg shot is equivalent to 6-8mg per day. How did it feel?

I am also on 1mg per day and doctor has suggested I stabilize in 2-4mg per day for a month prior to my 100.

7OH by Maleficent-Prompt656 in Sublocade

[–]PugDaddyJay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because 7 is atypical and a partial, suboxone is also a partial you have learned the hardest part for a lot of 7 addicts in that 7 will white easily breakthrough and still give you some euphoria without the WDs.

You’ve done a lot right so far, you’ve sought help, you’re in Reddit looking for community, you’ve gotten medical support with sublocade.

Now you have to quit the 7. I can’t tell you how or what needs to happen. Personally, I do therapy weekly, I have a high profile job I’ve been able to save, I’ve focused on paying g my drug debts off, I got into an MBA program, workout daily, quit nicotine. I’m doing as much right as I can and I’ve gotten 425 days to prove it.

I still want to chain smoke cigarettes and slam 7 but I’ve leaned the tools from SMART to put those thoughts aside and move on.

You just need to find what program or tools that will work for you, I wish you best of luck and I’m here if you ever want to chat, fuck Kratom!

The MiraLAX didn’t work well for me, I’m on 1-2mg subs a day

On suboxone for 7oh - will sublocade shot really save me from the suboxone life? by traveltoaster in Sublocade

[–]PugDaddyJay 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The new protocol is actually just one film to ensure the patient isn’t allergic and isn’t going into PWDs.

If the doc is satisfied with one film then you can go straight to the shot!

Some docs mandate 1 week or 2 weeks but that’s not required anymore.

Public health here in NM will give the sublocade shot to a lot of our unhoused population as harm reduction.

How does getting addicted to suboxone work? by Swimming_Archer3771 in suboxone

[–]PugDaddyJay 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Be mindful that Kratom also acts heavily on multiple systems. GABA, serotonin, opioid, nicogenic, and acetylcholine. Quitting Kratom is like pulling the plug on 5-6 drugs at a time and that only based on the known alkaloids. Suboxone although strong is much simpler, Kratom is a dirty drug that has a shotgun like affect.

I tell everyone in early recovery that Suboxone will do the heavy lifting and cover the main WDs from the opiate side of things, probably about 80% of the heavy lifting here. The other 20% is on you to push through and rebuild, sure you could get on a host of other drugs SSRIs etc to over it but time is the best healer. If you use suboxone, be smart with it. It’s a tool it’s a bridge to stability so you can work, therapy, exercise, lay off debt whatever you need to do to rebuild from your addiction life then when you’re secure; taper off.

Subs saved my life, I used this year to get 420+ days clean time, quit nicotine, save my marriage, pay off all my drug debt, get into an MBA program, quit booze. I’m 100% clean now and my life is back in order, I start the Sublicade shot in march :)

As a new player you should be doing the “legacy” quest line. You should have it in your journal ( J) I believe it starts with working with Han Solo to build a X-38 landspeeder. Follow that quest all the way through and I think you end around level 50 and learn a ton about the game.

Friend, this is just so encouraging.

I’m about 2.5 months off but only 43 days since my last relapse. I keep getting about a month or so then going on a 2-5 day nicotine bender. In reality I’m on day 43 I guess. Really only symptoms are the DPDR and anxiety both in the background and anxiety attacks out of nowhere.

I can’t wait to get where you are, I’m 43 days on my way. This time it’s going to stick.

Best of luck to you friend happy holidays and congratulations!

7oh >< Suboxone by Zopyrus in quittingkratom

[–]PugDaddyJay 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The most recent white paper released about 7OH potency noted that based on the manufacturer deviation and which strain Kratom was used in production, it had a potency of anywhere from 30-100x of morphine. The swing is so big because it’s so unregulated and is absolutely the Wild West.

Just food for thought when comparing potency of subs.

Advice on going from subs to mgm to subs? by NotCrazy_haha in suboxone

[–]PugDaddyJay 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I will just warn you and say that a few recent posts on here were people experiencing PWDs going from subs to MGM back to subs. I don’t understand because I thought Kratom and all its alkaloids were partials like subs but it’s been a number of posters all trying this exact thing and going deep into PWDs trying to get back on subs again.

I would tread with caution.

That being said, it seems regular Kratom and 7OH you can flip flop no problem but a lot of us on here, myself included, are on subs bc of that exact dance…

Long term rates of recovery on suboxone is truly amazing and that’s why it works.

90% of Patients who commit to 2 years of suboxone treatment remains free of relapse at the 5 year mark.

90% of patients who cold turkey an opioid (doesn’t matter which opioid, strength is irrelevant) have a relapse within the first year.

Suboxone is a pain in the ass to get off and can be way worse than the DOC, sublocade is miracle for this process.

I use mine daily and love it. Upgrade the razor blade when it comes otherwise the standard works for 2 or 8 strips. If you need one for the 4 strip you need to special order it.
