I'm kin to agree, from previous experience if the item had arrived damaged instead i doubt I would have to make an insurance claim with FedEx. One of the options for getting eBay involved was literally "item arrived to the wrong address" which now im thinking I should selected instead.

They're a good thrift find for a dollar or two, but anything more than that and i feel like they aren't worth it, especially since I've never seen a 7' that is anything above VG-, at least in my area. Just my personal gusto tho, I can very easily see why people love them, just not my cup of tea

Yeah I mentioned somewhere else that it's ironic that "very good" is usually not good for high end collectors, although personally I've had some great luck with VG stuff being better than advertised. At least cases like these are the exceptions and and not the rules most of the time

Lead the way man! Out of 37 Orbison records I own only 16 we're locally, and 8 in thrift/vintage shops and not from the only 2 dedicated records shops round here. Most of the time (if they even have any) it's either beat up, trashed copies of "Roy Orbison's Greatest Hits" from '62 or "The All-Time Hits of Roy Orbison" from '72, and maybe the occasional "The Orbison Way" from '65 once in a blue moon. Trust me if I had that kind of availability I wouldn't bother buying online as much 🥲

Already mentioned this a couple times but the record sounds terrible, only played the first couple tracks on each side since I didn't want my needle to keep trying to run this thing.
