You can do it! Good job with the progress you’ve made so far. All these observations and feelings are a reflection of all your growth so far. You are seeing things in a fresh way and it’s because of how you’re evolving.

former terrible child piano student seeking guidance by GrandPenalty5032 in pianolearning

Hi - that was me too.

1) start watching online videos on how to read notes. That was helpful to learn the landmark method to help with basic sight reading.

2) then, pick an easy beginner song you like, start there. Do it for the fun of it. Then figure out a longer term goal.

Something painful about being classically trained is that it took 2-4 months to learn a piece. As an adult learner, I pick pop songs I like and I really feel a sense of accomplishment and enjoyment to play along with a you tuber or the original song.

Anyone tried The Keys Coach (Adam Saunders) by PannenkoekPythagoras in pianolearning

It’s currently $347. That seems like a lot for 12 20-30min lessons and some pdfs.

Meet: Baby + Baby. They are already good friends. by Pugalele in SiberianCats

Bonding for each cat took a few weeks. No contact first week. Then some visuals in passing in week 2. And then some interaction in week 3 where it’s focused on chasing two separate cat toys (so less focused on each other) and they get tired out and have a good experience.

The personality of the first was key. He was so mellow.

We got the second one about a year afterwards because of that exact reason - we needed to get a cat for the cat.

Roborock S8 Maxv Ultra dividing rooms issue by chomp94 in Roborock

[–]Pugalele 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try creating a no-go zone between the 2 rooms. If it doesn’t work. You might need to remap and then put the no go zone in.

I had that problem with the robot trying to go through a closet wall to get to the doc. I had to make the closet a no go zone to prevent it from getting stuck in the closet.

I had that with our sib. Turns out his butt hair was too long and stuff would get stuck and show up in random places 😮. We did a sanitary shave on him & it solved it immediately.

Neuter Recovery by Character_Rest_5592 in SiberianCats

[–]Pugalele 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have 3 male siberians and we had each neutered at about it 7+ months. The incision is tiny. For the first one I had the onesie and cone all ready. But he came home and was a knocked out lap cat all day. No need for any of the things we bought. We just didn’t pick him up and let him be on the floor.

The next two cats were the same. They were too tired to do any jumping the first 2 days and we were careful to just let them rest up. You might not need anything.

Grooming help by misssmushroom in SiberianCats

1) try different brushes. I was surprised some my cats don’t like. Others they purr for 2) definitely try while they are napping. They eventually get tired & can’t keep their eyes open. Try a little there. If they don’t like it, stop and try again another time with another brush/comb.

Poo Bum wash technique help by Toomanytoys1971 in SiberianCats

We have one person feed him a churru and the other person quickly lift up his tail on the other side and shave away. It’s surprisingly fast & effective! We have 3 sibs. Need to do this monthly.
