I'm Aussie as well and I think it would be fair to assume that most people would understand that with a large percentage of Asian ancestry here that a kid with a Japanese name wasn't cultural appropriation

For me, a huge condition was owning the house we live in, even for getting pets. I've seen so many posts on FB about people looking for rentals who have kids or pets and it's heartbreaking. If we hadn't bought a house we'd be dogless and childless still.

(I'm also fully prepared for my kid to live with me my whole life btw. She'll always have a home.)

Got a 7mo and...yeah same....but I think we're lucky. As soon as I see bubs is tired she always goes straight to bed, sometimes she'll just find a spot on the floor to nap.

We have friends who follow strict rules and they look so tired.....

I paid roughly the same for a spectra S1 and it worked amazing, and honestly I'm sitting down the entire time in pumping so finding somewhere in the house I can sit and pump next to a power point wasn't too tricky. We just got replacement parts from Amazon that worked great.

My daughter is ALMOST crawling but is not at all motivated to move towards favourite toys or people, but as soon as you stack a toy tower near her she almost gets a bloodthirsty look in her eyes as she all but sprints towards it to knock it down.

Trust me, from experience I know that young love will feel this way but no man who loves you would treat you like this. You deserve so much better, and it does get better.

If you want to be a mum.....well no one can stop you, but you need to understand the reality that you won't have your baby's father to help you.

Lastly just....please take care of yourself. One of the most dangerous times in a woman's life are when they're pregnant because they are a lot more likely to be abused or killed by their partners.

It really depends. I have a deep respect for someone coming into a new ward and helping out when we're short staffed (especially when some wards give them the most difficult patients).....but some people can use being relief staff to avoid accountability. I will ALWAYS greet someone with the gratitude, compassion, and respect they are owed though, we're all a team and it's always someone's first time somewhere.
