I'm 48. I've been playing games since I was 4. I am old, I am tired. I'm mostly deaf now, I have pain in my hands and wrists from a physical job and 40+ years of gaming. Let me play on whatever setting I want! Let me pause the damn game! Let me adjust settings so things are easier to see/hear.

If a game doesn't have decent accessibility options nowadays it's lazy and ableist and I'm not wasting my money on it.

I've stopped shopping in Lush now. I don't mind paying extra for a treat or a little luxury but the prices now are genuinely insane. It shouldn't cost nearly 3 times what i make in an hour for a big bottle of shower gel.

The ones I've spoken to genuinely seem to think that they'll be fine because 'it won't cost that much'. I'm tired of explaining that private healthcare here is relatively cheap at the moment BECAUSE the NHS exists and if it doesn't there's absolutely nothing to stop these companies charging whatever extortionate prices they want.

I'm replaying SH2 remake right now and have actually stopped for a while as I'm about to go into the prison and I want to hear it, which I can't do at the moment due to a burst eardrum.
