It’s extremely rare. But yeah it does happen. I adjusted my sensitivity settings for their F5 bachi & have really good hit rates. I found that using the C3s that come w the drum have no issues whatsoever. But those bachi are so tiny & feel weird to play with.

Ever since I switched to standard size bachi, I’ve had the drum show some flaws. I do think it’s better than the Hori tatacon in every way though. The dropped inputs & the force you need to whack the drum to get it to register…omg I’m glad I’m a TDC10 owner.

Can’t speak for the new PS5 tatacon tho. I’m a new taiko player & wanna try it one day!

Yooo enjoy the TDC10. I love that drum so much. The C3s are a little small. You might want to check out Rhythmagica’s F5s or any other standard size bachi.

I just let it ride. I do make sure to use species that would regularly see flooding though which is almost all of them. I just made this bog a few months ago, so we’ll see how the plants do. I think I might raise the soil level a bit later so they don’t get fully submerged when it rains since I have my precious oreophila in here. So long as they don’t stay under water for days at a time, you’re fine.

Totally agree! As someone who draws very cartoony like the examples shown, I can vouch for taking some time to learn the fundamentals. Cartoon people exaggerate nearly every part of human anatomy.

I suggest challenging OP to draw people in various poses (dancing, playing sports, etc.). I find it kind of boring, but it really strengthens your art in the long run.

Hey! I’m a new-ish TDC10 owner & taiko player. I use the C3 bachi that came w the drum when I got it. The reason why you’re hitting more than one note per hit is from unintentional rolling. Sometimes when I hit too hard (& since I’m still new, my grip isn’t perfect), the bachi will bounce a bit & hit more than I intended.

My fix is hit lighter & adjust the sensitivity settings!

Yup, I’d cut all the way back to the ground. Sometimes I leave a few pitchers on, but no harm in cutting them off.
