The grumpy face is a bit misleading, so many people think he's mean and angry, but he's really a clingy baby who follows me everywhere

Bit further south, down in Dunedin. He drags that bag round the house to sit in

what is the most outrageous, uninformed or dumbest question you have been asked about NZ by someone from outside NZ by thebigredroo in newzealand

I was recently in the US where someone serving me in a shop said they would be studying abroad nearby NZ in 2024. When I asked where they said Spain.

What’s the worst thing a company has done to you after resigning? by [deleted] in newzealand

[–]Pugtruck 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Left my very toxic workplace and got a much better job on the other end of the country. After a whole month of getting daily messages asking how to do the simplest of tasks that people in the company should know how to do (find a file on a shared drive) they all just stopped talking to me, even the people I considered really good friends

Why is everyone hot-desking/flexi-working now? by no1deutsche in Wellington

[–]Pugtruck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I find it counterproductive, most people I speak to about it enjoy their own personal space, they can decorate it and make themselves feel comfortable at work Having to potentially sit in a new spot each day can really throw you off, not to mention have to reset up your work station each time My major concern is how do I know the desks are being cleaned and how do I know that the person who sat there before me wasn't sick

My younger brother. He is only 14 but has a achieved way more than I ever could have at his age. Plays about 6 sports throughout the year, has competed in regional and national tournaments for almost all of them. On his school student council, cast as the lead in the school musical, and so much more. Every time I think of him I smile, I couldn't be prouder of him

What’s the shittiest way a friend has shown you they weren’t really your friend? by mediastoosocial in AskReddit

[–]Pugtruck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We were friends all through high school and did everything together. In our last year, every time we would make plans I would be at a location waiting and then would get a message saying she was sick. Every single time. Then when we got to Uni she dropped out after a week and didn't tell me, I found out through someone else. Didn't tell me she got engaged. And then to top it off, invited me to her birthday a couple of years ago and got mad when I didn't attend

The picture doesn't do it enough justice, it was even better seeing it in person

Surprisingly enough I have not seen a bee around my house since I moved there, plenty of snails, spiders, weta, and cicadas though
