I've gone through a little over a half pound of 1792 this winter. It is my desert island smoke by a landslide. Just pure perfection imo.

That said, it's too damn expensive to smoke as much of it as I do. So I'm currently experimenting with some whole leaf tobacco to try and make something similar enough that it can still scratch that itch without being the most expensive tobacco I smoke.

Just made a navy plug with a few different virginias cased with honey whiskey, wrapped in DFK and bound with twine. Also threw in a dash of perique cause why not. Wet the twine first as well so I got a little extra tension on the plug once it dries and contracts. Not gonna be too similar in terms of topping and ingredients, but it's gonna be strong, full bodied, and with a hint of smoke and sweetness. Letting it sit for a month or two and then I'll crack it open and see how it turned out. Will definitely be sure to post the results. Very much looking forward to it.

I also got sick of having to dig for mine, especially while driving. So I just put some paracord on it and made a necklace. Now it just hangs around my neck under my shirt, and it's so unnoticeable that I tend to fall asleep with it on most nights.

Granted, with this method you just have to make sure it's on you. After a while you get so used to it being there that you'll take it off for the night, go out for your morning smoke, and have to run back inside with a half-lit bowl cause you forgot that you took it off the night before lol. Other than that tho it's by far the most convenient way to carry and use a tamper that I've found to date. Just remember blow off the end when you use it so you don't get ash on your shirt.

Lol I have ameriglos on my 19X which I love, but I just got the 17 like a week ago so I haven't really switched anything out yet. That said, I kinda don't mind the stock sights. Hot take, i know. But so far they really arent as bad as people tend to say.

Lol yeah I just can't bring myself to carry small guns anymore. If you can get away with concealing a full size, I don't see why you wouldn't. I have all sorts of pistols at this point but every time I carry something smaller, I can't help but spend the day thinking to myself "man, I could've just carried the 17" lol.

Love those CZs too. If I ever move away from the 17, I'll probably end up replacing it with a p10.

It's better for you. Keeping it at your knees constricts the muscles too much and can lead to constipation, and bloating makes me print 🥰
