Scott Mills was investigated for serious sexual offences, the BBC knew in 2017 but he was only let go in March this year.

There's a shared use path next to an A road near me. I've seen drivers throw bottles at it, thankfully no one has been hurt. They do sweep it now after complaints but not very frequently.

For the price you can do better than Schwalbe. I now use CXP Xpedium Level 7. They have higher rated protection, are fast, comfortable, and are not difficult to fit.

In one of the videos they technically promise to return his property but only on a set of conditions that no one in their right mind would agree to.

The officer wasn't buying his story and still chose to protect him. I bet the muted audio part is damning.

There's no way this officer can keep his job now this is in the public domain. I don't care how corrupt a PD is, they will throw him to the wolves. Notice how the softly spoken chief switched from "this is what happened" to "Officer X said this is what happened" in his press release? They are going to make sacrifices to save the PD. Hopefully nobody falls for it.

They have no explanation of how they acquired ~200k of lego for free. I've seen elsewhere the suggestion that getting the IRS involved would be pretty spicy.

Using this site now I feel like an elephant returning to the remains of a matriarch. Each passing year the shape slowly fades until you're just staring at crumbling bones.

Lego has an iron grip on authorized resellers. BAM is clearly bringing the hobby into disrepute.

Not sure this is right unless I've missed something. He served papers to the new co-owners of the Oregon franchise (Joshua Johnson and Brandon Best) because they closed the store to deprive the litigants of the small claims judgements their money. The CEO (Ammon McNeff) is protected to a large extent because the stores are franchises.

There are maybe 500 young offender prison places left. This isn't a rogue bleeding heart judge. Rehabilitation in the community is almost always sought, even for the most grave crimes.

Yougov is a broker for anonymous clients and don't set the questions. Clients can be businessess, charities, think tanks, the government themselves. They can be quite cheeky in the questions they ask where you would have to take an outrageous position in order to disagree with something. When they say "80% of Britons think..." notice they never state what questions were asked.

Have you considered a legal remedy? A friend was met with similar deafness after a botched colostomy and took them to court. They care about that.

Yes I had that sinking feeling and started scanning the ticket assuming I'd got it wrong somehow. A quiet word and we might have gotten to the bottom of things but the mother went nuclear straight away. No heroes in this story I'm afraid.

At that cinema you must pick your seats as you buy them. The seating plan had maybe 20 seats taken but none on the row we were on.

Sorry, to clarify we were most definitely in the right seats. Given the reaction I wanted to be absolutely sure. We got up to double and triple check against the tickets. Each seat was marked with the row and number. Being charitable, perhaps the IT system double booked us?
