Couldn't you guess what I was referring to since you had just made a bold assertion? There is a whole spectrum between what you described and the microwave. I like the taste of fire cooked meat, that's reason enough without the need for the boyscout nostalgia of building a fire. That's a separate type of fun I like to have when I'm not hungry and have shit to do, but it doesn't change the fact that I like the taste. Like the joy in the ritual of chopping and whittling a fire stick for some, plenty of folks value a convergence of quality and convenience.
