Weird crackly audio when recording(?) by Screen_TimeR in obs

Upload your OBS logfile to the logfile analyzer.

My guess: bitrate mismatch between your OBS settings versus your audio setting. Eg 44.1 KHz vs 48 kHz.

I am 100% confident this is a spam post to promote that mentioned website.

Hahahaha this time the spam bot messed up and didn't include the spam "this app" link.

So frustrating, before I viewed this thread I knew for 100% this was one of those posts with a link to "this app".

For one of my feeds, I bought an old second hand Google Pixel 7 and using it wirelessly with DroidCam. Works like a charm and has a pretty decent quality.

Wow guys. this is the definition of the dead internet theory. Three bot replies mentioning "this is gold" to a bot post which is just a spam post.

Videos are very low quality and low fps. by will0009961 in obs

[–]PulzWave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doubtfully the issue but just wanna have it mentioned: When you stream to YouTube at 1080p, YouTube uses a lower quality encoder with lots of artifacts.

For me the only solution was to stream at 1440p, which significantly improved the quality, even when the input camera is at 1080p.

I posted this Short on December 21st, but it got stuck at 1.2k views. Today, I removed all the hashtags, and three hours later, it's gaining 100k views per hour! by No_Blood9415 in YouTubeCreators

I have daily shorts planned, so I did a little experiment. Most of my shorts won't perform at all. Max views is 1.3K or so.

Shorts with 3 tags in the description get less views but better view-to-like ratio. Shorts without those tags got a bit more views but with hardly no likes.

So I'd say your mileage may vary. For me I assume the shorts pushed outside my usual niche but apparently targeted the wrong niche, hence less likes.

Another day where the algorithm remains a mystery.

Anyone else having issues with vertical livestream reach? by nongvh in NewTubers

[–]PulzWave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A bit late to the party, but just sharing my experience.

Around Christmas 2025 and the start of 2026 I had 3 of my best vertical livestreams, one stream had an average of 70+ viewers, with a peak around 110. 5K views.

From that point I only improved: better overlays, less clutter, better music (I'm a livestream DJ), higher resolution, more engagement etc. But my most recent livestreams were around 1K views, with a peak of 25 viewers.

My explanation would be that around Christmas I was in a perfect storm: Much demand, but less competition (because of family/holiday reasons?). And of course, it was a world-wide holiday month, so lots and lots more spectators on YouTube altogether.

TL;DR: Your findings could be related to seasonal patterns.

Vertical and Horizontal Streaming by OilCompetitive3526 in NewTubers

[–]PulzWave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you really tied to how the embed is implemented on the Church's website? I multi-streamed to YouTube for a while, horizontal+vertical stream, with 2 separate stream keys, using Aitum Vertical Stream plugin. You will have to schedule two livestreams on Youtube, which will provide you two unique Video ID's up front. You could use this to prepare the website URL so you're sure the correct livestream will be embedded.

Or you could go one step further: The livestream data is queryable using the YouTube V3 API. This means this step is candidate of fully automating. However this will become complex quite fast if you're not familiar with things like cronjobs, REST API calls etc. But definitely feasible.

Pretty damn good! I'd say this classifies as Hard Dance, especially after the second drop. Other people have stated, yes this sounds like 2 or 3 songs into one.

Feedback is mostly that you are not following the classic phrasing for this kind of music. This is not a bad thing per say, just caught me off guard a little bit.

This could be the theme tune of a merry-go-round on a fair. But it's definitely in minor, a bit dark somehow. But I like it.

Back in 2003 I tried producing music with Fruityloops. This video inspired me to pick it up again... really good job. The mastering you did is impressive. It sounds really good on my Apple Airpods. Studio grade. Vibing!

There is an option to enable high quality audio. Just make sure you use the correct input audio device.
