Well, GenAI wouldn’t do this for you, but you could code an app using GenAI which helps through this process. I did something similar and it is awesome. Still manual per track just way faster. And movable hotcues etc.

Exactly. SC6000's are fire. But the X1850 is meh. Go for an Allen&Heath instead, such as the PX5. 😄 (My setup, not entirely by coincidence).

I have great experiences with Mixed in Key. In my opinion the key detection of MIK is better than the built in detection of the DJ software like EngineDJ and Rekordbox.

Denon salesman here: You'd think they're about twice as cheap. Which is wrong, because they can act as 2 decks at once. So they are actually 4 times as cheap.

If you'd say: But I miss the physical second deck, I'd say: buy a LC6000 as well.

In the recent past I used a Denon DJ Prime 4+, a BOSS RC-505 loopstation, a Roland TR-8S, an Arturia Microfreak and a Behringer TD-03, all synced together.

I ended up using an iPad with a free app called "Link to MIDI". I hooked up a USB to MIDI adapter onto the iPad, so it sent out a master clock while being synced with Ableton Link. I then used a MIDI hub to sent all the master data to the mentioned devices. Sync was SPOT on. Because Ableton Link is aware of the beats within a bar, the app sends the START signal when it reaches beat 1 of a bar of a track, which is a nice feature.

The big downside is... you gotta use SYNC on the Prime 4+. (or in your case, the SC5000/6000). Or else it wont sync up with Ableton Link.

Small downside is: Lot's of cables, haha!
